Yeah, it brought back focus to the artistry side of animation. Animation was heading in the direction of trying to replicate real life as much as possible, I think this saved it

Just so you know some people have already seen the movie at test screenings, they are professionals and most of them said its amazing snd better than the first
U mean critics, they aren’t always right. Especially recently where audience reviews are often being the polar opposite to critics
@Horizon critics see the film before release, test screenings happen way before release so they can change things if the movie has problems with the audience
@@Samadul98 the studio can choose who can watch the test screenings and the guy above said professionals so then that would make them critics, critics can gain access to test screenings aswell, that’s why articles get released before the movie comes out.
I feel it might be like No Way Home, not that great story wise but the sheer amount of adrenaline with multiverse can be amazing with Spiderman

It was actually like 18 to 24 frames, Its animation which means it can't feasibly work at 60 FPS.

it actually pretty much sums up the whole movie! the only thing they left out was the next movie lol.
2nd didn't live up to the first imo, you can tell it was post covid, a lot of it felt rushed and lacked a lot of coherence and direction, just seemed all over the place a completely wasted storyline, 6.2/10 and that's only for the amazing effort the artists did that got held back by the writers inability to decide what they're writing.

I watched it but I think the 1st 1 is better but it's kind of sad that the robot that penny uses died
the spot actually used to work for king pin and he was working on teleportation obviously did not end so well but it also gave himself the ability to make himself teleport kind of like the game portal and Spider-Man 2099 is NOT the main villain miles obviously did something wrong like you know when miles says "Spider-Man always" and Peter-B-parker cuts him off by saying "not always" I'm guessing this is relating to when they lose someone very special in there life like Gwen lost her bestfriend Miles lost his uncle and Peter got divorced so Spider-Man 2099 is probably trying to help miles in to doing the right thing Miles just thinks its wrong and thinks that he can save everyone so there would a major plot twist in this

Im so glad I refused to watch any trailers before the movie came out because watching them now i realise these trailers really spoiled almost everything, for one i didnt even know about the Spider Scociety. I definitely wont be watching any Beyond the Spider-Verse trailers dispite how bad i want to see it. I disagree with Simon here saying it doesnt spoil much, it really spoils an insane amount, even that Peter has a kid.
