- Finally I get to work on a motorcycle, on the channel today. I start to tackle the rebuild on my 2014 Ducati 1199 Panigale I start by replacing the tank and sub frame and remove all of the fairings and all other damaged pieces. Hope You enjoyed !!

Facts! That bike was gorgeous 🔥🔥🔥
The "Black Box" you refer to is not a data recording unit. It is the BBS control unit. It works in conjunction with the ecu as part of the traction control system and contains accelerometers that are used to detected angular changes in the bike in both the pitch and roll axis.
Finally the Ducati build. Been waiting on the Ducati build Episodes like forever lol. so excited to see the final product.

The triple clamp stops are broken off on the Panigale. I’d check the forks for straightness, replace the lower triple and check/replace the steering head bearings.

You don’t have to insure bikes in Florida and only two of my bikes are salvage titles
It’s not like the black box in a aircraft, it controls the gear grange indicator rear lights and rear indicators.
Being a Ducati I would be keeping it all original colours, I get that it’s not to your taste Reece, sure change it if your going to keep it, but for resale, I would keep it original, just my opinion of course as it’s your project.
If I can find an oem kit for a reasonable price I will. It’s just taking way to long for custom stuff

The colour on the clutch/stator cover might be because i think they’re made out of magnesium alloy. Also head covers should be the same.
