Hubby hates pressure washing our home. The concrete carport was the worst, but found a product called Krud Kutter and it worked alot better than the bleach or concrete cleaner.

I have a tank on my machine and I’m able to dispense soap with pressure washer. I noticed you don’t have fuel stabilizer in that gasoline. I suggest ETHANOL SHIELD, it eats water and stores for a year and a half. Will make it a 1 pull start. I unscrew pull start off and use a screw gun to make electric start for hard starter! I’m old! LoL

Most pressure washer manuals contain verbiage similar to this: "Running the unit for more than one minute without spraying water causes heat to build up in the pump. Running the unit without spraying water can damage pump components and will void the warranty." Each time you experienced a leak, you were narrating while the machine was running, but were _not_ spraying water. That may have built up more pressure than the hose could handle. I would also suggest a Turbo Nozzle (that sprays in a large circle) and move the wand in a circular motion; that will prevent lines that appear after it dries if you use the standard flat spray nozzle and move back and forth.
Awesomeness. If they sell a unit that you can’t talk for 45 seconds. Then that machine is junk. However. Last year. This was not a problem. For I have filmed doing this twice. But with my machine not his. Just my luck.
Your concrete looks great compared to mine! We tried getting my pressure washer cranked with no luck! You should see how much concrete I have to clean! ITS A LOT!! I agree you need some color. Ferns would look nice.
You need a Turbo Nozzle. They sale them at Lowe's, Home Depot, and Wal-mart. Wal-mart is cheaper. Its a black cone shape nozzle that fits on the tip like your other fittings.
The gasket on the fittings , is there a metal screen on it ? Remove the screen part for direct pressure , I did power washing for service master , the chemical we used for our wash had hydrogen peroxide and detergent. You spray it on a dirty fence dry and you can see it working . Plus it doesn’t hurt flowers or grass . One customer said after we cleaned her out side of her house and stockade fence , it made her strawberries grow more . Ps I always use cheap hoses to power wash . Remember to get water flowing through the gun before turning on the motor . Or you can burn the pump out

That is a waste of money when there is nothing wrong with his water pressure. The issue is he is not operating the pressure washer properly because it plainly states in the instructions that you keep the wand open if you close the wand and just stand around the pressure will build up inside of the pressure washer and that high-pressure hose on the wand will take it but a standard water hose will not take it. It is not a firehose like his on a firetruck and it is not designed for that much pressure..😂😂😂
Hey brother. That pressure washing probably feels good on a hot day We use to pressure wash sidewalks around shopping centers. We rented a 4000psi washer. Didn’t need to use any detergent when using it lol.

I have an 11 HP Honda engine with a Cat pump. It's kinda old but it works. I believe it builds up pressure to 3K PSI. And use a good quality rubber hose. I have a Goodyear hose. The thought crossed my mind that you might have had the hoses backwards. You made me laugh when you said it was time to go read your bible. Well, brother, I've been there and done that, for sure. After the third hose ruptured, the engine went from being air-cooled to liquid-cooled. Hang in there brother. Keep doing what you're doing. God bless you and yours.

I use "30 Second Outdoor Cleaner" which I buy from Lowe's. You attach the bottle to your hose and can dispense chemical or water rinse with just a twist of the nozzle. I take the red colored nozzle out and am able to reach high places on my house. Also note, I spray the chemical on my siding and let it soak for 4 or 5 minutes. Then I hit it one more time with chemical and wait a few minutes. Then I go to rinse. That method does a great job for me on my house. No scubbing or ladders needed. Really easy. I also buy the bulk size container and refill the hose attached container as needed. Thanks for sharing and God Bless you and yours!

I'm a huge fan and would never hurt your feelings. I think you need to call a landscaper to do a layout of your yard and you and your wife need to look at the layout and if you love it let them install shrubs that are low maintenance and beautiful. I've been trying to figure out a new layout for my yard and I can't do it. I'm going to get a landscaping company to come out. You can ask them about flowers. I live in Atlanta and it is so hot and I am watering all of my flowers, ferns, hostas, lemon tree, tomatoes, lavender plants, etc. every 2 days.
I had landscaping we had guys come in and lay bricks all around the house and sides, planted all kinds of shrubs, roses, flowers, hostas, Lillie’s ground covers, after 10 years and constant replacements and headaches, had another landscaper come out and pull all the shrubs and all the plants, hauled in rocks and then bought a truck load of larger rocks to place throughout the rock beds and put in solar lights along the front and I’m done…….no more plants and flowers except for pots.. and it is beautiful

Just pressure washed my car port and used a 1200 psi washer and thought it was going to take forever but just kept washing and then it was done!!! That’s my motto brother- if it weren’t for bad luck I’d have no luck at all!!! Keep pressing on and things will work out for you. Nothing like owning your own home, always something needing fixing!

David, i just wish i was there to help. I pressure wash alot. Wood decks and cement driveway and patio. Check and make sure you have correct nozzle on your wand. Prime and let set five minutes before starting. Hot weather you can usually skip half throttle. Make double sure your hosd gaskets are seated. Good luck
What a mess! Have you tried fixing the hose with duct tape? As for flowers for your front porch, if you are looking for something that will bring some color as well as hummingbirds, I'd recommend Portulaca (Moss Rose). It has very brightly colored flowers and in your neck of the woods, it's actually a perennial. The seeds are microscopic, but after the flowers are spent, the seed pods form and break open when dried, which is what makes them bloom repeatedly and for several years. I've planted it in baskets on my deck where I couldn't reach to take down in winter and they still came back for years. The coconut coir disintegrated before the flowers died out.

David you or the wife may like an outside sink behind your man cave . I have an old cast iron sink with a light and a gfci receptacle . Mine is used for cleaning fish and garden vegetables Ann deer. I don’t have hot water hooked up to it . Y’all would probably enjoy a porch swing also . If you don’t have room under the porch for a swing you can take used power poles or treated poles to make a frame for swing . If Stephanie likes hanging pots with flowers you can put a longer pole on the swing for hanging pots. If you’re lucky you will have Grand kids one day and they usually like to swing. You have to prop on trigger valve open when you start the pressure washer on, that wat it dose not blow a hole in the water hose, lol right, thanks, the working pressure is high, ok thanks BigAl California.
David, as mentioned before, you can't 'deadhead' the pump for too long of a period. If you need to pause for a minute or two, keep the wand in your hand and squeeze it every minute or so to prevent overheating and over pressuring your hose. As for not cleaning as good as you are expecting, check your spray nozzle to make sure it isn't partially clogged with rust particles which is common after sitting up for a period of time. Also, Muriatic Acid will clean the cement 'like new' but wear the proper PPE. Be sure the read the label....good luck.
Hey Yawt Yawt, I used to demonstrate & sell pressure washers for yrs. Don’t use them too much on concrete slabs. They blast away the tiny sand particles in your smooth concrete surface leaving the tops of the gravel rocks in the concrete exposed and giving you a rough finish on your slab. Better to just use plain garden hose, pour some bleach onto the slab, possibly brush it lightly with a broom & rinse off.
@@1OFGODSOWN I’m sure that’s how you run yours, that’s what the unloader valve is for, so when you release trigger it will not load up. Like David said it is paw in law unit and no telling how long it has set up so possibly calcium has built up in the valve and frozen it up.
They make repair pieces for water hose. Lowe’s or any hardware store should have them I never saw 3 new hoses blowing in a row 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤦♂️. Brother you got some bad luck 🤷♂️
If you guys decide to hang ferns try kimberly ferns. They grow well in shade or sun whereas boston ferns don't like the sun. We love your new homeplace! May God continue to bless your family!
David, I used to Pressure wash houses and sidewalks if you get some cheap bleach and spray it wherever you want to be cleaned it will come out like new just spray the bleach let sit for 3 or 4 min, and rinse There should be a hose hucked to the washer that you put the hose down in it and spray the bleach on then rinse
IMO there might be a problem with a check valve in the pump allowing pressure to back up into the water hose inlet. These pumps are pretty simple. Ask RUclips for advice. I always flush mine with anti freeze and use gas stabilizer. A little love after your done keeps the washer happy.
The reason why it keeps blowing is because the pressure is to much when you stop using the power washer so water takes the easiest route which is to blow out at the connection so when you stop just turn the water off and you will be fine and god bless you and your family David
Are you using a regular water hose instead of the pressure washer hose? HART-35-Pressure-Washer-Hose-up-to-3800-PSI You can use a regular hose from the house to the machine but then you need a special high pressure hose from the machine to the spray nozzle.
Be Careful to use the Correct Color Tip on Wood or Siding or you will Damage and/or Destroy the Surface. Correct Color Tip and Correct Distance are very Important. 👍
Just a couple of friendly observations. I would have tested and fixed the pressure washer before spraying the soap on the concrete. When you pour a bottle of concentrate into the sprayer, if it's a 2 to 1 mix, just fill the concentrate bottle with the hose and you have a perfect mix. That will also rinse the rest of the soap out of the bottle.
I could be wrong about it but it appears at 16.28 in the video . That the spray nozzle was hooked up opposite. Like I said I could be wrong,you said that they were similar. You got this.
Hay David. You call always do what country folks do. Let the dirt build up and then plant some low growing ivy on it. At my house I planted weeds and guess what. Grass came up. Go figure.
David, the one of the internal check valves has malfunctioned, allowing pressure to enter the inlet system. Causing the back pressure on the garden hose to bust. This would explain the low pressure to the nozzle.
Don't get rid of your pressure washer Use Seafoam Foam in your gas. Good for 2 years Keeps gas fresh All parts stores have it Walmart too. You have a gummed up carburetor or bad plug or both. No doubt. Simple fix. I just got a pressure washer from a friend.Used twice. Carburetor ws gummed up. I cleaned it all up. Running fine. Enjoy your videos

The water supply goes where you have the high pressure hose hooked to. Look how the hoses are hooked up on the one that want start.
Nope you are wrong. They have special ends. They only fit ONE WAY

Pressure reducer at the faucet, #50 is the norm. Actually your entire water system shouldn't be much above #50 to protect your pipes and faucets.

David, i just wish i was there to help. I pressure wash alot. Wood decks and cement driveway and patio. Check and make sure you have correct nozzle on your wand. Prime and let set five minutes before starting. Hot weather you can usually skip half throttle. Make double sure your hosd gaskets are seated. Good luck

As for flowers for your front porch, if you are looking for something that will bring some color as well as hummingbirds, I'd recommend Portulaca (Moss Rose). It has very brightly colored flowers and in your neck of the woods, it's actually a perennial. The seeds are microscopic, but after the flowers are spent, the seed pods form and break open when dried, which is what makes them bloom repeatedly and for several years. I've planted it in baskets on my deck where I couldn't reach to take down in winter and they still came back for years. The coconut coir disintegrated before the flowers died out.

David you or the wife may like an outside sink behind your man cave . I have an old cast iron sink with a light and a gfci receptacle . Mine is used for cleaning fish and garden vegetables Ann deer. I don’t have hot water hooked up to it . Y’all would probably enjoy a porch swing also . If you don’t have room under the porch for a swing you can take used power poles or treated poles to make a frame for swing . If Stephanie likes hanging pots with flowers you can put a longer pole on the swing for hanging pots. If you’re lucky you will have Grand kids one day and they usually like to swing. David, as mentioned before, you can't 'deadhead' the pump for too long of a period. If you need to pause for a minute or two, keep the wand in your hand and squeeze it every minute or so to prevent overheating and over pressuring your hose. As for not cleaning as good as you are expecting, check your spray nozzle to make sure it isn't partially clogged with rust particles which is common after sitting up for a period of time. Also, Muriatic Acid will clean the cement 'like new' but wear the proper PPE. Be sure the read the label....good luck.
My ryobi pressure washer surface cleaner works like a charm. There are other brands, just I have a ryobi. God bless buddy!

Hey Yawt Yawt, I used to demonstrate & sell pressure washers for yrs. Don’t use them too much on concrete slabs. They blast away the tiny sand particles in your smooth concrete surface leaving the tops of the gravel rocks in the concrete exposed and giving you a rough finish on your slab.
Better to just use plain garden hose, pour some bleach onto the slab, possibly brush it lightly with a broom & rinse off.
Hoses are backwards… pressure is blowing your garden fitting apart, swap them.
😂 You must keep the nozzle on the wand OPEN or the built up pressure will bust the hose.You know as little about a Pressure Washer as he does.😂🤣😜
@@1OFGODSOWN I’m sure that’s how you run yours, that’s what the unloader valve is for, so when you release trigger it will not load up. Like David said it is paw in law unit and no telling how long it has set up so possibly calcium has built up in the valve and frozen it up.

David, I used to Pressure wash houses and sidewalks if you get some cheap bleach and spray it wherever you want to be cleaned it will come out like new just spray the bleach let sit for 3 or 4 min, and rinse There should be a hose hucked to the washer that you put the hose down in it and spray the bleach on then rinse
IMO there might be a problem with a check valve in the pump allowing pressure to back up into the water hose inlet. These pumps are pretty simple. Ask RUclips for advice. I always flush mine with anti freeze and use gas stabilizer. A little love after your done keeps the washer happy.
The reason why it keeps blowing is because the pressure is to much when you stop using the power washer so water takes the easiest route which is to blow out at the connection so when you stop just turn the water off and you will be fine and god bless you and your family David
Get you a turbo nozzle for your pressure washer. If that don’t work paint the concrete to make it look nice!

Be Careful to use the Correct Color Tip on Wood or Siding or you will Damage and/or Destroy the Surface. Correct Color Tip and Correct Distance are very Important. 👍
Just a couple of friendly observations. I would have tested and fixed the pressure washer before spraying the soap on the concrete. When you pour a bottle of concentrate into the sprayer, if it's a 2 to 1 mix, just fill the concentrate bottle with the hose and you have a perfect mix. That will also rinse the rest of the soap out of the bottle.

David, the one of the internal check valves has malfunctioned, allowing pressure to enter the inlet system. Causing the back pressure on the garden hose to bust. This would explain the low pressure to the nozzle.
You need color and a porch swing put 1/2 vinegar 1/2 water cup of salt cleans good gets rid of rust mode.
