Some ppl can wake up at 5 and some ppl can't. I forced myself to wake up at 5 just to see if it would benifit me in anyway. Just the fact that I forced myself to get into this habit I proved to myself that "I could do it" which them have me the trust in myself to do other things. So, to each its own. As long as your productive at some point in the day your on the right track😄
It's a process!!! Eric Thomas said it best: What's your why?? Working a full time demanding job and trying to get my Cleaning business moving requires time management. So, if I'm up at 4, dont have to be at work till 8. Thats 3.5 hours to work on me!!
I do not understand why it is so difficult for some to get up by 5 am. I get up at 4:45 am every single day. I go to sleep somewhere between 9 and 10 pm every night. Just wanted to let everyone know that this habit doesn't require going to bed extremely early.
Great episode Lewis. You always have great people on this show. I always learn so much. This episode is fantastic but the one with David Goggins is on a completely different level. I learned the most from the toughest man in the world.
I really don't think that getting up at 5:00am is that magical. You have 24 hours a day regardless of when you wake up. But I think most people are spending from 8:00-1:00 in pure escapism habits(tv, eating, playing games, surfing the web ect). The real value is GOING TO BED EARLY and not when you wake up. Once you wake up early you are more likely to focus on positive uses of your time instead of that time being burnt in rabbit holes. Sleep enough. If you are always tired you won't be productive either.
This was excellent, ironically I literally just put out a video myself on morning routines. One of the first things I say is put down the phone, do something more productive and of greater value
Such a great short talk! Super inspiring! Getting up and just going through the day, maybe struggeling the moment you wake up, the whole day can make you even weaker then you started it! I will definitely will start tomorrow with a new morning routine! I also wanted to start my MMA workout again, this sounds like a plan! 🙂
5am?! I'd be too tired to do anything all day lol. Sorry but I'm more productive well rested. Long as your not sleeping your days away and being productive everyday you are fine.
I wake up at 5am, for one job. Have a few college classes between that one and my second job that lasts until midnight. Waking up at 5am isn’t the key to figuring out life friends. Lol
Is 5am not kind of the regular time for most to wake up? I mean most people have to be at work by 7am so I would think that 5 or 5:30 is the most common wake up time.
I do not really understand what these two gentlemen are talking about. Do you not know that a good speaker will choose the words and carry out your thoughts in a way that will make audience will easily understand your point? The title is 'wake up at 5AM' but I don't get your point.
JM F This is just an excerpt, which is why it probably didn't make sense to you. The link to the full interview is in the notes / text below the video. Hope it helps 😃
@Jonathan Bowen I feel the same way. I get that getting up earlier gives you more time to do you morning routine, but sometimes people seem to take pride in getting up as early as possible. Or they seem to thing that that time is somehow more valuable than orther times of the day. I do agree with the light aspect. Light is important and as a night person I struggle with that from time to time. Thanks for the article I will check it out!
Juul van Geleuken exactly. some people prefer working their asses off around 6pm till 1am in the morning and are nocturnal, then go to bed and get up around 7am . and are millionaires. sooo this ain't it
i think the only reason why you are so triggered is because you know you can't get up that early. When you get up around 5 or 6 in the morning your day is starting before everyone elses, so you have the potential to get more done. By the time everyone else is getting up you could be already relaxing or you could just be out working them simply because you had a jump start on the day. There's nothing wrong with getting up at 9, 10, or even 11 it's whatever works for you at the end of the day, but that person that wakes around 5 or 6 in the morning and uses that time right will always get more done than you...
Daniela Paola Mlikdi you only need minimum 3 or 4 complete sleep cycles. You're much better off working with your sleep cycle to be able to wake up at 5 and not feel as groggy as if you were to wake in the middle of one
Early mornings and meditation has really changed my life ! Great video!! 🙏

It's a great process!! Think about what is achieved while others are still sleeping! 🤘
This is a learning curve we all need to pursue at some point.
My first 5 am today, not easy .I have a nursing baby.but I need to give back to my soul.

It certainly requires going to bed early for some of us. I have to get up at 3am so I go to bed at 5:30pm. Sleep is a requirement for a healthy life.

Yep, I’m an early starter! The Miracle Morning book is amazing for starting the day correctly. Anyone seen it?
Yeah that book changed my whole morning routine. Seems like this books is pretty similar. Have you read it?
@@jeffreyzie hell yeah I've read it! Gives me a great start to each day doing the SAVERS.

Thank you for this insightful method that indeed works effectively. Foundation has to be built to support a structured life.

Robin Sharma!!... What a beast!

Find a routine that makes you feel strong in the morning to set up the rest of the day strong 💪

just awesome
🙌
I go to bed at 2:30am and wake up at noon 😖😔😞😫
But if I wake up too early then I'm tired throughout the day and can't focus. It is unatural for humans to still be awake before the sun rises.
...but ...but then how are you going to feel superior to others?
:)
Who are these softies that get up at 5am. I don't even bother going to bed
tell it to the NAVY SEALS
lol

Haha

When do birds wake Up?
god I fucking love this channel! 😊💗
“Why you need to get up at 5 AM?” Because I have to be at work at 6am! The end😂
It does makes sense but it's hard. =( I guess it should start going to bed early, too.
I'm in the 7am club :)
It's not 5:00 am it's 0500 hrs
Time is entirely subjective. I wake up at midnight every night and consider it my 6am. I don't need the sun to see daylight within.
very good grooming lewis
I have been wanting to get up at 5am and every time I make some excuse... not anymore!
People in my country we have to wake up 3am or 4 am because traffic is dam hard so people have a lot drive there
You have to quit drinking if you wanna get up at 5am.
Next book, the 4am club
Did anyone thought, that this is what Islam do? If u r a Muslim u should wake up when the sun rises to pray! Make u think right?
Yes Islam is true religion
Sadhguru sleeps only for two hours

Why is it so important to get up at 5AM though? Who cares at what time your morning routine is done, you can do the same at 10AM.
