That louder wine is incredible! However, not a fan of intake design. Basically deleted the direct functionality of hood scoop and the filter isn’t shielded from engine heat at all so will decrease performance with sucking in hotter air Vs fresh air directly from hood scoop. However, louder super charger wine is awesome! Lol
Honestly I bought it because of the customer service at b woody. You can call them and they will help you with anything. I just rather support a company like that than the others where I’m a no body. On top of all that the intake works amazing and does everything I wanted it to. In the video you can see that I was sent a bad coupler I called Bwoody and they next dayed me the correct part no question asked.
11:01 This is funny to me! I too own a 2021 TRX with tier 2 equipped. To hear you say that you wouldn't get a larger air filter because it was 40 bucks?! Lol...its a 100k truck my friend! Its ok to splurge on a +$40 air intake filter! The green also matches the green belt you can put on when you do a pully swap!
@@pickygarage not yet. Going to take it in October due to parts being on back order. I’m putting cold air intake, exhaust cut out, pulley swap and a pedal commander. You plan on doing more to your TRX? Thanks for the reply! 😁
It’s been really hot here lately but I want to say that it’s been colder airflow. I haven’t driven in traffic yet either so I’ll get back to you on this.
I get about 118 in south Florida during August month with my cornerstone performance while driving. At idle after one hour of stop go traffic, i can hit 145
How did you go about getting the sensor plugged into the rubber grommet. Ive legit broken 2 sensors so far and for the life of me cant get it to properly go far enough into the grommet without the grommet shooting completely into the intake tube
Don’t push it too hard. It only needs to lightly stick into the pipe to get readings. If it’s not fitting through at all I’d call them they will be happy to send a replacement or figure out a solution.
mine arrives Sunday, Gloss white with the upgraded filter option, was wondering if this would effect off road capability by removing the factory closed intake.
This one doesn't look like it works with the Mighty Mouse catch can either, damn it! I'm going to have to see if I can make a bracket to offset the catch can so I can get a BWoody or CPS intake.
Did your mpg change any? Did it increase boost? It took 7 months to get? It was a reusable/ cleanable filter that came with it? Any change in your 0-60 timer? How high does your IAT read now? Sorry so many questions. I have a TRX also and just ordered my intake a few weeks ago.
My mpg went down because I’m always flooring it now cause I love the sounds. Air flow went up significantly. 0-60 is around the same just more noise. I’ll have to get back to you on the IAT. Boost is still the same. The filter you can clean but I’ll just buy a new one for $40 when this one gets dirty. They also provide a mesh filter that goes over the air filter.
I wonder why FCA didn’t originally add this piece of pipe with a way undersized cone filter sucking in hot air from the engine bay…. Instead they went with an air intake scoop sucking in fresh cool air, how stupid! Lol
I absolutely love this BWoody intake! That TRX Supercharger whine never gets old.

It’s been great so far! Really loving it !
It doesn’t utilize the RAM air intake on the hood? What compelled you to buy this one over say an S&B or others? Thanks!

Hahahhaha I’m actually laughing pretty hard at that. Have you done the pulley upgrade?

@@pickygarage and I’m doing green belt and green air filter! The website says the green filter gives you more air too!
Why have thar awesome menacing v8 exhaust growl only to be ruined by amplifying the high-pitched intake whine?
I personally love the sound of a supercharger whine! its not for everyone though. the TRX stock you cant hear the supercharger at all.
Thank you for the awesome review!! Glad you are enjoying that sweet whine! 🍷
Amazing air intake happy I went with Bwoody!
Email sent about my elbow as well...
How are the intake temperature compared to the factory intake? Any improvement? Colder airflow?
It’s been really hot here lately but I want to say that it’s been colder airflow. I haven’t driven in traffic yet either so I’ll get back to you on this.
I couldn’t imagine it being colder air inflow due to design.
Did The company send The elbow piece that was short by accident or do they send it out with all Intakes and you have to wait for the New one
It was by accident and they next dayed me the new one ! Hope that helps ! Let me know if you have any other questions
I don’t get why you’d get rid of the ram air shoving cold air into the motor vs one that heat soaks? I do like the whine better but sounds idiotic.
It sounds amazing to me. It also runs colder than stock. Win win to me.
Agreed
@@Dr._Swash_Buckler from the driving ive been doing the IAT is 115 degrees

I’ve taken it off road twice since and it’s fine! They include a mesh filter cover! You should be good just don’t submerge the truck!
any problems with heating?? people are saying its a hot air intake
I didn’t have any issues ran it all summer in VA

Downshifts?
It whines when you downshift into a rpm over 4k
Did you contact Bwoody directly about the elbow, just got mine and it's too short also.
Yes I did I just called them and they handled it . Let me know if this helps?
Just sucks hot air with no separation from the block. The intake temps are definitely worse than stock with this intake.
I’ve noticed 10-20 degrees colder.
Did you disconnect the battery before installing?
Nope just installed it

@@pickygarage IAT?
IAT? IAT? IAT?
Does it void warranty?
No the air intake doesn’t void the warranty.
IAT numbers brother?
Today with an outdoor temperature of 87 degree the iat was 115 degrees. Let me know if you have any other questions.
This gives more supercharger whine but is a complete downgrade in every other aspect of an intake.
I love it!
This setup goes against everything I’ve learned, looks good though, matches the valve covers nicely.
I love it ! It sounds so good!

Best intake? It looks like something put together from Home Depot’s dumpster
Hahahaha that actually made me laugh pretty good! There definitely are better looking ones.
@@pickygarage I just bought the S&B today. I hope it’s better, if not I guess I’m going to Home Depot.
