Thank you brother! My area dodged a major bullet with that last storm but I’ll be working in the area that got destroyed as soon as the roads are safer to travel on.
Have you made a year review of this intake? I want one, but worry the increased intake temps might hurt performance. What’s your opinion, was the Bwoody a good purchase?
Don’t sweat that, there are no increased intake temps when the truck is in motion only when the truck is stationary. It’s a great intake you won’t regret it I promise. The Rippatune intake is also a great option and they have them in stock, BWoody is always on back order.
@@Wimyaorder one the other day. 8 week wait! Maybe I’ll try and start a channel and make a video of the install. Awesome videos dude. Very helpful. Thinking the FAS pulley might be the next install
@@Wimyaoh I’ve been looking at my current intake temps, they have been about 40 degrees over the outside temp. That’s on the stock air box and stock filters. One of the employees for Bwoody said they have seen 10-15 HP gain with their intake. Haven’t seen a dyno sheet but that’s pretty good for what is essentially a ‘hot air’ intake
@@Wimya that is a good question, I have a level 1 but the harnesses may still be there in the base model. If you can do it, it’s an awesome upgrade. Send them an email
Yea 100%. It’s designed to keep out dust / sand when running in desert environments and to keep water out of reach when treading thru water….. NEITHER of which I do. Now go look at the set ups on the quickest TRX’s and check out the intake types they are using.
No heat soak issues at all and I live in FL where it’s always hot af lol. I’m actually in my truck as I’m typing this and my current IAT are 119° & outdoor temp of 92°
I love the simplistic tubular intake design. The S&B style box that mimics the factory box clutters the engine bay and hides the beautiful engine/supercharger. It would’ve been nice if this kit came with some kind of airbox seen with LegMaker and JLT.
My 21 Trx is an “on the road“ vehicle as well. Maybe occasionally going uphill in woods at my place, but that’s about it. That’s probably 99% of all truck owners, despite what they say.🤔
the IAT wire isn't an extender... That goes on the passenger side of the engine bay. You're going to need to put that on... check out the video @137adventures did on that.. Hope that helps.
It’s an IAT-MAP harness you use it if you live in hot climates to prevent an “Intake Over Temp” engine code. Where are you saying to install it? I didn’t see a video explaining it either.. not saying you’re wrong just curious.
Sorry had a technical difficulty with audio issues. The video is scheduled for reupload for in the morning. Great video btw truck looks and sounds great 🤘🏻
Most of us don’t have a TRX. So it’s fun to watch these type of upgrades. It’s fun to dream.
I watch the same kinda videos as well on cars I’m interested in. That’s why I love RUclips! If y’all keep watching, I’ll keep making them 🤘🏼
Set a goal, stay focused, have a good life plan, and you will have more than Trx in your future. 😃
@Leonard Rice truth. Just got my trx and I was broke 5 years ago so it is very possible
The super charger sound is so much better, glad to finally see another mod for TRX! 👍
100x better!!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Man that sounds great. I’m contemplating getting that same intake.
You won’t be disappointed. It sounds great in person 🤘🏼
Thank you for the Awesome review! Glad you were able to get your hands on one. We appreciate your support!! 🙏🍷 #GotWhine
Of course!! Y’all make one hell of an intake!! 🤘🏼🍷
That's a mean truck. Having the blower lid powder coated bronze would look sick.
She’s a hell of a ride lol 🤘🏼. I’m kinda leaning towards the bronze lid as well
Stay safe over there dude Florida looked bad

Just found your video. I think ill do this to my TRX. Btw kind of looks like where i grew up in Weston, down in Broward county.
You won’t be disappointed! I’m not too far from Weston. I’m up in West Palm 🤘🏼

She’s a whiney wench that’s for sure lol
Wicked 🤘🏼🤘🏼

TAKING 10 YEARS TO GET HERE
Florida looks so nice! What part of Florida is this at? Thanks.
FL is pretty rad! Can’t beat the weather! I live in Palm Beach County. It’s South FL
Hey, subscriber here. Nice truck and interesting videos. I have a 21 Trx.
Thanks for the support! And great choice of truck! 🤘🏼🙌🏼
You should do a paragoptics interior lights upgrade. I just ordered the full kit for $400 they look sick when they are installed
I would totally do one but do you need existing ambient lighting to install? I don’t think my base model has any.

So I live in Davie, let me know if there are any TRX meet ups. I have a 23 Havac
I’d love to meet some fellow SFL TRX owners as well. Maybe I should try and set up a meet
🤘🏽🔥

Did you have any issues with the relocated windshield wiper fluid reservoir?
Is my reservoir in a different place than yours? Lol. I’ve never moved mine 😶
@@Wimya I thought you had the brawler fab behind the grill mount. My bad lol…that one requires a relocation.
@@schachtbrian ahhh ok Gottcha hahah I was nervous 😂
is it possible to put 9" oracle x lights behind the grill?
Yea I would think so
This gave me a woody, b.
Ayyy!! 🍆💪🏼😂
Can you measure the temp in the engine?
Can you run any power numbers?
I loves the sound but wondering if the Warm air would be hurting power output
What would you compare those numbers to as I don’t have measurements from before the install?
There’s a reason why they engineers design the stock big filter vs the one you just put . Don’t you think ?

I’ve done a few mods to my TRX, do you think the intake gave you 25hp ?
No. You wouldn’t really feel an extra 25hp in this massive truck either imo.

25hp? To crank maybe?
Doubtful
@@Wimya figured. Don’t sell the TRX!
*insert expert comment* 😆
😂😂
Why destroy a engineered component ?
What exactly was destroyed?
I expected at least a dyno run before and after, without any numbers all the mods are pointless tho
You expected dyno runs on a intake install video?
