I really appreciate the effort you put into these forgiveness reviews. Nobody is doing this on YT. You deserve more viewers and definitely more likes.
Is it possible to do this for drivers?
    Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the kind feedback, it is. It takes a bit more work going through the data sets for true usable data but is still possible. Will be doing it on my upcoming driver reviews in the next month or so 👍

By the way, you are the best on RUclips for club reviews. Love the forgiveness tests and variable swing speed results. No one else does that.

These videos are awesome! The forgiveness tests are the best to truly compare irons against each other

Thank you, I planning on the i59 but now rethinking the i230

Yes, I agree with Ricky. I was really looking for this forgiveness information. My clubs require a near center hit to get any distance. They are supposed to be forgiving, but they are not like these Pings. I am going to have to give them a try.

Great review. Reaffirms in excellent detail what I saw when I tested them. I only play irons up to 6 iron. expecting to move to i230 for 2023. Targeting some improvement in approach play to shave off those last couple of shots to Cat1

Nice review as always. I personally look for distance and dispersion control vs long distance. in a players forgiving club. As mentioned below, it would be great to see the I230 up against a DTC like Takomo 201's (getting alot of great reviews)and waiting on the new JPX 923 Forged. That would be a great match up to see. Thanks, keep it coming.

I was a bit traumatized by the lack of forgiveness in the Mizuno Pro 225 and stunned by the forgiveness and feel in the i230. If there's one club to rule them all, it may be the i230.

Great video, proper data and interpretation:
If we ignore forgiveness for a second, the i230 and i59 perform effectively identically.
If we look at forgiveness the i230 has a touch more than the i59.
Means the i59 is outclassed and only for those who are both premium ball strikers and favour the looks of the i59s far more than the looks of the i230 (I like both). Pro golfers will probably play the i230 almost exclusively over the i59 (just as they played the i210s over the iBlade).
Even so I am not changing my i210s!

and you aren't wrong for not changing either, the i210s were among the best irons Ping have made 👍

I'm a player that is looking for a lot of backspin to hold greens but I do not want to sacrifice forgiveness. Therefore, I was curious how the i525 would compare in those 2 categories to the I230. (It seems the i525 irons have been marketed as the more forgiving iron). Your video gave me the answers I was looking for. I am thankful for the information you provided. Now, I will not be scared to pursue a fitting for i230 irons. In fact, I'm looking forward to it. Thanks to you!

Man I seriously think you do the best reviews on the ‘ol interwebs!
Love what you do with purposeful mishits so us “regular” golfers can get an idea as to how the ball will react when we inevitably mishit it. I recently took to my local golftown (Canada) hitting bay to try out the i525, and absolutely loved it. I’m a mid handicapper (14) and am definitely trending up (or down?.. anyhow, I mean I’m getting better). Long term I wonder if i525 would still benefit a golfer who would soon (🤞🏼) be reaching single digits? Or would said golfer be better off going with a better players club like the i230?
    Thanks for what you do.
(Edit: I don’t lack for distance. So club head speed is not an issue)

Hi Jay any chance of doing a comparison with a direct to consumer golf brand against a leading golf brand ie Sub 70 verses Ping I 525 or similar products 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

I don’t understand why Ping makes basically the same club in two different models like i230 and i525? Why not power spec slower swing speeds and retro spec higher swing speeds in fittings to save money on manufacturing cost and marketing costs, same quality and less expensive for us.?🤷🏼‍♂️
