- Today we dive deep into the terrifying and impressive Wandering Ones. This quest mod is more like a full on horror game, complete with a fantastic story to uncover, set pieces that will make you jump, puzzles that will leave you stumped, and effects more impressive than the vanilla Skyrim game. Wandering Ones truly is an outstanding example of what is possible for Playstation mods. Because of the nature of the mod, we decided to record this episode like more of a let's play rather than a showcase. We wanted to experience the scares and revelations right along with all of you!

I stumbled across this mod walking outside of Dawnstar and thought, "oh nice, must be another house mod I installed".
This is the best quest mod on PS4 in my opinion. It's unbelievable that Cyan49 was able to make this using in game assets. The creator is a genius.

In all seriousness, Cyan49 should be making video games. The work that had to go into this was not just meticulous, but downright ingenious. The fact that he was able to do all of this without a single line of custom script is a testament to his mastery of the craft.
100% agreed. This isn't just a mod, it is a game. Impressive enough design and pacing, but making that happen IN skyrim ON ps4 is absolutely wild. I want so badly to think that many mod creators will take this as an example on how to do mods, but frankly idk how much of this was just raw talent and work.
Cyan49 made death stranding because they are Kojima. Guaranteed. No doubt in my mind. Can't be anyone else.
Hard to say. Even having a small bit of understanding on how he would have done this, I'm still floored by the ingenuity he displayed in using those mechanisms in the way that he did to create these effects. Certainly things that I wouldn't have thought of!
Wtf, this is the best mod I’ve ever seen. I wish cyan would do more quests like this, even in a open world, like, read a book, go to x place to find y item glowing, this would be AWESOME
I actually love the way the mod keeps you on the edge of your seat
It’s so good. Paced out so well that you never feel safe while playing!
I was stuck in the water flow corridor and thank god i have the teleport mod so i can escape for a moment and save my game outside

Dude cyan is unfknbeliavable. Makes me wonder what he does for a living. One that really impressed me was his summoning followers mod.
I dunno why it took me up to two years to finally watch this but it's f'in great!
This is very well made Cyan49, did a fantastic job, I have to admit I got stuck for a bit. Anyway brilliant work. Also the silence in there adds to the atmosphere. Cyan49 is a amazing modder.
You all deserve way more views. This is absolutely fucking wild. Two things are impressive, one, just it by itself is well done, and two, knowing somewhat game mechanics and how skyrim just.. operates.. then having this experience within it. Truly truly bravo. Well done.

I'm finishing watching this while going to bed I have to say it's actually pretty scary, I have no idea how cyan did this, I mean he had to of cheated and used external assets somehow right?
It seems wild but the reason this mod is PS4 exclusive is because Cyan created it completely with internal assets and existing scripting! I don't know how, but it is incredible.
I’ve watched it before bed too! But I haven’t completed it because I wanna go through it and not know what to expect, though I’ve gotten half way through already because it’s hard to stop watching especially when Shapeless Media is so funny with it! Buuut it’s amazing incredible that it has such a scary aspect to it! Brilliantly done Cyan!
Dude these chase scenes and atmospheres, especially the water level, feel like Amnesia! And the unique rooms from the mirror one to the maze feel like Layers of Fear! This is really well done!
this mod is fucking awesome props to whoever made it. it was so immersive that not only did i forget i was playing a game i forgot i was playing skyrim. best horror mod in a non-horror game ever and better than most of the horror games i’ve played

I'm so glad I played the mod before watching this. Got to die half a hundred times till I figured it out myself lol. Cyan's also changed it a bit since the version here. Nothing big, a note or two rephrased or a different effect used in some puzzles. Advice for next time? Favorite your torches for easy access 🔥
I just discovered this mod yesterday in mod "featured" side and I thought it was a property mod. I don't usually play horror games but I enjoyed this mod 10000/10
During the chase sections, you can use the slow time shout to help you out

My only problem with this mod is the lack of an in-game reward. Do I think you should play through this mod? Yes, definitely. I loved playing through it and hope to see more mods that add such a wonderful experience. But there isn't a reason to play through it again.

I did a play through of this mod on my channel and I would like to know how cyan did the changing rooms as well. But making a slight educated guess is that it was using the games papyrus scripting mixed with linked trigger events
I know haha we were actually recording this episode for 2 full hours, I edited down the MANY times we died from the flame boy and trying to work out some of the puzzles. It's basically a whole indie horror game in skyrim!
My mind can understand how things changed once I interacted with something (i.e. click on a door and the room flips behind me). I don't understand how that maze in the basement changes once I walked backwards... that one really shocked me. Such amazing design from Cyan49!

I just randomly incounted this in game the first time when I wanted to shut the game off an hour ago. I may have one more quested all night but this quest broke me in my tired needing bed state. Jes man I was just killing the skeever guardian and wanted to check out a new house I wasn't after that

I am so extremely impressed by this mod but sadly I am trapped in an eternal red shaking animation in the paintings room that does constant damage and will not let me out. I have tried reloading 5 or 6 times hoping I can finish and enjoy the rest of the mod. Thanks for showing me the rest of it, at least I can watch it here even if I can't continue it myself.

you missed something cool/creepy in the room you entered around 41:33 with the rope. you see the body hanging above the desk if you look back over the boxes after you turn around.
In the room with the grindstone on the right side of the bookcase if you look at the light it is a hanging body

I lost patience & just deleted the mod because I wasn’t having fun anymore. It was getting annoying & irritating. To each their own but I thought it had too much of the same shit. Chasing, puzzles & jump-scares. It was pretty good at first but after so much it’s not fun anymore.

Hey, I have ideas for mods, and player homes. Who can we talk to to make PS4 compatible mods? Because I want to see more thief or assassins theme. Secret home/hideouts.
This was straight out of max Paynes bullshit I hated those missions that were exactly like this. Also I had a glitch happen in middle of this level and didn’t realize it so it was literally impossible for me to have passed and had to restart. It was where the six paintings were on fire and you had to beat the floating thing on fire to these caged walls. But no
Matter what I did it was coming out before I reached the wall just before the caged wall. Reset and got immediately. I was pissed when I realized I had been stuck with a glitch.

So I'm experience a weird glitch with this mod. I get to the room with pictures and then when they change, the room starts shaking and I can't get out. Really annoying cos my autosave have be overwritten so I can't get out of this. Can anybody help please?
