Trinity really needs a full rework.
Either that, or the entire energy system.
She’s likely receiving a rework sometime next year. DE Pablo confirmed on Twitter the other day that several frames are receiving reworks in 2024, and Trinity was curiously shown along Volt, Mag, and Excalibur in the gameplay launch trailer for Whispers in the Walls. I don’t believe that that’s a coincidence.
DE should really take this opportunity to make Trinity more like an angel. Replace her abilities with damaging holy powers or something.

@@Calamity556 We don't need more damage frames, we certainly don't need to lose utility/support frames and we for sure don't need to do both the previously stated at the same time. If she gets a rework, it should be aimed around defending objects such as giving a percentage heal to objects, her 4th already gives most objectives damage reduction, perhaps adding a flash of light on the objective when damaged with the odds scaling with strength replacing her first ability.
Honestly, they should just make this mod part of the default of every frame, then rework every mod and warframe ability that used to be built around gaining energy because of the limited supply.
I find it funny that I came back this update after not playing for a month and I keep finding out about these new mods and all I have to think is "I... I don't know how this got green lit, nor how they thought this was balanced but sure." Then the next day I find out about this mod and think "Look, I like power as much as the next but this is going to cause heavy balancing problems later on."

Yeah, see here's the thing. You're absolutely, 100% correct but large swaths of the player base don't give a crap. And I'm not saying that to insult you. I care about this too in fact. There are a few of us left and worry the long term balancing and content generation ramifications. Heck I saw a forum post yesterday of someone bringing this up. And now it's swamped with people telling him, me, other people to go fuck ourselves. That there's nothing wrong. This isn't a problem. Nothing bad is going to come of it. You take your comment on the forums and you'll get the same treatment. Unfortunately, it is what it is. The chickens will come home to roost eventually. When it does all the people who demanded this will have surprised pikachu face, and play dumb on how it got there.
It feels like they gave up on balancing a while ago and just handing us free op shit to go crazy with
no offense but 3 energy a sec as a main mod is really not that big, seems like a nice alternative for the 30% efficiency mod on shield gating frames that don't want less casting cost

You'll definitely be constantly full if you add nourish and/or zenurik

If your team run brief respite, with ability to spam that has 25 base cost, and with zenurik and/or archon stretch + 175 efficiency. You can do catalyzing shield gate spamming infinitely with your 6.25 energy per cast.

I achieved that Styanax build with nothing but Nourish and 5 Tauforged Crimson Archon Shards. And it's unironically the best build I've ever put on my Styanax. Why build for efficiency when you have infinite energy, Overguard, full armour strip AND nuke potential?
Gotta love how Styanax gets to be this fun, powerful warframe without being overpowered (or at least, not easily) and specially, without having to limit your playstyle. You got the whole frame, you're gonna use it!

After Intrepid Stand the only that can kill my Styanax is as follows:
Negligence (didn’t pay attention to buff duration) extremely rare
Glitches, the extremely rare no button inputs are working at all (happened solo, took 5 full min to die 2 minutes on SP)
The Fragmented One (ability nullification and bad timing on a laser wipe) This happened once solo which was the first fight I ever did on 60 eyes and once in Squad… none since.
The Archons are a joke now… I killed one with nothing but Final Stand after the attenuation adjustment with Abyss of Dagath.
@@newbplaygameshe's OP with the cap too. You never really run out. Swap his 1 with nourish and you have unlimited energy for the whole squad, and viral procs to boost your 4 (the 4 wont do viral, but his 3 makes enemies target him, which causes them to take viral procs from nourish anyway)
Someone said it best, Trinity is good. Like REALLY good.. at what she does. And what she does.. is FULL support. For a game that has all but forsaken the need for supportive roles.
I'd rather she not be reworked into another "nuke the map" frame. But she's not exactly able to be ANYONES first choice for content these days.
she's a good tank if you build around her 3 and 4, can easily reach maximum DR.

Its funny you say that, because she used to be a nuke frame back when we had raids. Nuke Trinity was possibly the best nuke warframe ever had
But I mean, she *was* my first choice for Netracells. May not be a full map nuke, but clears tightly packed enemies real good. And it's remarkably hard to die.
Tried to bring her on the Fragmented One, but that guy is untargetable, so she can't really make use of any abilities there.
@@undeadinside3571 Nah, I remember both raids and the Link Nuking and they were never used in tandem. Should also mention that the whole thing required you to build in a way that crippled you ability to support your team mates. It also wasn't that fun to play since it required you to constantly jump to avoid unaliving yourself. Did it kill things? Yeah, in star chart Hydron.
Honestly I feel like the issue I experience with Trinity is that 90% of the time she's not needed. Warframe's whole survival strat is just "kill enemies so fast they don't get a chance to kill you."
Its like any time I try to play Harrow in high level content, my team just erases the enemies so fast I can't even get my buffs up, and when I do they're kinda just overkill.
I still love the support play style though, because when it is needed, it feels godly.
That's why Wisp is the best support lol. All of her buffs are passive so you can focus on the killing.
@sanguin3 yeah but that defeats the point of a support playstyle for me. I __want__ to manage my buffs, its part of what makes the whole thing satisfying.
@@SissypheanCatboy have you tried Styanax? He's very similar to Harrow in that regard. He's very hands on, grants shield, energy, and even overguard. He even has a crit buff passive! (The crit part is the only aspect of him that he's definitely worse at than Harrow) Plus he makes enemies prioritize himself over allies, so you get to be pretty active with him
trinity need a rework so she would summon powerful enemies so your team need to beg trinity for heals or die
@@Dregomz02 powerful enemies are still brain dead enemies in warframe. Skyrim a.i. might be smarter

trin is incredible and primed redirection was a huge buff to her, what exactly is the issue with her kit?
@@unzkipriime4283 Her kit has no issue. Its just that in team play, Trinity is known for being the team energy battery. With new mods like energy nexus and nourish helminth combination, people less appreciate a Trinity in their team as they can now have almost infinite energy with the right setup.
@@mikeycmk5665 okay but it's a huge difference if your build takes up slots for energy sustain or other aspects, the energy regen is nice for Trinity herself and she offers way more than just energy regen, her first ability is a worse version of her 4 and needs to go, she will still be appreciated ;)
@@unzkipriime4283She's never appreciated in my games because there is quite literally 0 use for her. I don't need health, I never die. I don't need shields, I never die. I don't need energy, I'm always at max. I don't need armor strip, I have that already.
There's nothing to appreciate on Trin unless you're garbage at the game. Harsh but true.
She used to be able to heal all ally’s no matter the distance. That’s been limited. She used to heal objectives now that’s been removed. She used to be modded to reach 99% damage reduction. That’s been hard cap. All these changes were made to keep Trinity in line as a support and prevent her from creeping into DPS frame territory. This indirectly lead to Trinity having a monopoly in everything support. But as time event on, more and more ways to receive energy and heals were added while Trinity was slowly falling behind. Now she feels weird to play bc she still retained a lot of these hard nerf to this day. While other frames feel versatile in-terms of builds. I still play Trinity but no longer as a support but a “solo endurance tank” since there’s practically never a moment we’re playing her as support makes a difference. And if the teams needs a support Wisp greatly overshadows her in everything.

I am actually happy with energy being easily accessible, although i wish trinity got a rework.
I remember the times when Trinity could give her whole squad 99% damage reduction regardless of distance for 25s at a time...

Trinity back then was busted for the time. Crazy how if she were to have all her previous nerf reverted she be more in sync with the current meta.

@@Agustinguss actually she cleared every enemy in over a 50m radius every single time she did damage. Look up the old videos of her abusing sancti castanas. She didnt even need to see an enemy
Underrated mod, regen during channelled abilities is so extremely powerful, even I underestimated the power of this mod.
It disables during channeled abilities like every other form of energy regen, not sure where you're getting the idea that it stays active.
My friend played Trinity like a DPS frame that can self heal. I am terrified of him and I'm certain that this will not deter him.

Because of Nourish giving me over 5x energy multiplier on my 400%+ strength Rhino I don't need Primed flow, arcane energize or zenurik. Just a blue shard for bit more energy cause Blind rage makes 4 cost 155 over base 150 cap.

Max Efficiency/Strength, Minimum Duration Trinity is a fun way to nuke still. You have all the health and shields, they get none.
Does marled for death still work on EV targets? That was nerfed right? But the armor strip augment for link might still make it great. Idk

Energy Nexus is too strong to be exilus anyway. Mainly running it over streamline in alot of build, both help with ability upkeep and spamming

I can imagine an alternate timeline where none of Trin's abilities affected allies. And the whole comment section would be people saying "all she needs is for her abilitied to affect allies and everyone would love her".
They should make trinitys abilities give buffs instead of just sustain, yeah survivability is nice but I'd like some offensive and utility based buffs, maybe have a buff that adds extra multishot to everyones guns, that would be wacky and fun
If they don't want to outright rework her then at least change Champion's blessing cause no one is damaged so the Buff being linked to heal amount is stupid.
At the very least, they could give her some mechanic that all excess healing does damage to nearby enemies, (possibly ignoring armor like energy vampire) so excessive healing feels actually rewarding

You sound like a Trinity main I used to know. They'd say over and over that Trinity is good, yet they'd always do the absolute worst out of anyone. They had thousands of hours on Trinity using the best builds. Doesn't matter how you build Trin. She's garbage.
If Trinity is out of business, then those who leveraged on Energizer are filing for bankruptcy.
The thing is with the energy system is that
-it isn't fun when running out of it
-too broken when too much of it due to spammability
-but at the same time other skills are balanced around spammability.
-It's also fun to spam the ability
Suggestion is you can still cast abilities even without energy but at reduced Strength and Duration.
they should stop making it divisible by 5.
There are an insane amount of ways to never run out of energy
-Zenurik
-Grimoire
-Nourish
-Pads
-just having decent efficiency
-Lycath's hunt + equilibrium on melee frames

@@cernos7230 no, they've always had a balancing problem. Look at old warframe. We used to have melee that had 25 meter range through walls! It was a hugely unbalanced mess, but it was pretty fun! Its never been balanced and never will be, and thats ok. As long as it stays fun

I didn’t even realize this mod was in the game until I saw someone in region post asking where to get it and legit picked one up during an assassination grind for splinters; still don’t know what enemy dropped it.
I have just came back to Warframe a couple of weeks ago. Been enjoying my time, mostly.

I just wonder why they added this, because there's already an Aura mod that does the same thing. I know that Nexus affects the regen rate of abilities in a wacky way, but they could've just buffed the Aura instead of making a whole new mod. Feels redundant more than anything.
One mod gives us extra mod capacity and minor energy regen, the other drains 9 (or 5) mod capacity and gives great regen. Trade-offs is the only justification for Energy nexus existing.
Using mag with this currently. I regen more energy than the duration of my abilities.
Since I don't have arcane energize or archon shards yet my Loki likes this mod 🙂

I use dethcube with duplex bond and energy generator, yes dethcube with a verglas can kill SP enemies so duplex bond actually works

I have yet to get it but i did just got the obe that give str to the 4th ability, is an odd mod but i with there were more types like this that support a niche type of build, its obviously going to my titania and frames with exalted.
I had thought the same, and while it does raise the numbers on razorwing/blitz, the dex pixia dmg was about 3k less than umbral intensify...untested, but it may be the same for diwata as well, though it probably does nicely affect the razorflies

Yeah, Trinity needs a rework, as she's not bad, but pretty much irrelevant.
However, because of the concept of her design, being "the healer" in reference of the trinity of RPG classes (the dps, the tank and the healer), you can't just rework her to become a damage dealer, she's supposed to be a fully supportive warframe.
I think that "Trinity" was referring to her restoring health, shield, and energy

Just returning to warframe now since cross-save got implemented. What exactly is the trick being Implemented on styanax? Is it JUST nourish & energy nexus? Cause I'm looking at umbra excal to try that on tbh 😂
Styanax also has Rally Point which is an agro but gives teamwide energy which is 4x multiplied with high strength nourish. Also applies to Nexus.

I'm running Energy Nexus over Flow with 2 Tau Azure Energy Max Shards on Wukong. It's great only problem is that I spam cloud too much to allow it to Regen properly.

@@Sabuuchi and? Augur doesn't affect teammates, and brief respite doesn't work in overshield. Additionally, neither do it while simultaneously cc'ing an enemy and dealing percentile damage.
I don't even play trin that much but I think she's far from useless yet. Then again I play with people who skill issue more and I myself skill issue a lot so idk maybe I just run into more situations I can use her that people who don't skill issue don't.

I'm kinda not surprised. Back when angels released they did add Dissapate and although it got nerfed, its important to note it also spawned a physical object that all players could interact with. Nexus and also Xata Invocation are mostly just making number go up. I imagine the goal is to eventually have several solutions for supplying energy. Even Trinity has a place for premade squads to dump energy economy considerations altogether and offload onto Trin if DE ever gives us a reason to do so again.
but what about champions blessi- oh wait everyones healing themselves, you, their pets and their pets flea's constantly anyway so hf stacking that crit

Man, I've missed out on even more things after entering hiatus after the Zariman lurched out of the Void. Time to make my unawaited return to the farms for this broken mod before it gets nuked or made even rarer.
I guess energy balancing is even further in the shitter, or this is a semi-bandaid way of spreading the good word of Lavos Gaming.
