It's not Islamophobia - it's about being reasonable. When you are repeatedly told that Islam is a religion of PEACE, but it's tenets and more importantly it's behaviors are hostile to the world, one detects an incongruent set of beliefs associated to their actions. How can a religion of peace where its most extreme supporters behead innocents, hi-jack planes and send it into some of the world's most influential buildings? Why is this religion of peace have so much dischord among its own religion? Grew up in a country that is mostly Catholic. I was brought up Catholic. I went to a Protestant elementary school. A part of my extended family are Jehovah Witnesses. My brother converted to Islam over a decade ago. And 2 of the last 4 Prime ministers were Jewish. People of different faiths can coexist without an issue. My advice for those who are scared of muslims is to open a bible and read it. Some of the verses don't exactly promote peace and love if you know what I mean.😅 Are you gonna be scared of all Catholics now?

There are always some simple people that generalise and blame all. The same people don’t recognise and think about how it came to all of this mess, either because they are too dumb to process it, are uneducated, don’t have time to really delve into it or simply are spiteful beings. I remember in Denmark when i was a kid right after 911, how muslims drove around honking their horns and waveing their flags in celebration. Made me enter the military without hesitation years later, and a part of that strong anger I felt that day, still lives in me. I grew up as a Baptist in a African American household and I converted to Islam when I was 13 years old. Honestly I get treated different for being Muslim by non Muslims and also get treated differently ftom middle eastern Muslims. I often get labeled as a NOI when I am actually Sunni.

Islamaphobia is term made to instill fear against speaking out against an ideology by representing the most violent and unforgivable actions as justification for feeling hatred for those who wish to speak out against the religious ideology. The same side that once praised calling out christian moral authoritarianism, now licks the boot of another religion because of racial statistics, and conflates ideology with race. And now I realize, not all dangerous Ideologies are religious. There is a self righteous ideology, that seeks equality of outcome, referred to as equity, by dividing based on race. It seeks to empower those it deems oppressed and destroy those deemed oppressor. And these denominations are seated in race, and determined by the decision between compliance and dissent. There is a self righteous ideology, that feels unheard, and will still vote for a lesser of two evils. It seeks to stop the opposing force because they are opposed. They hypocritically throw away all they stand for in the hopes they will gain victory, but in the end they will lose everything. There is a moderate ideology, that believes the individual is responsible for themselves, and communal efforts need to be negotiated. Rising authoritarian powers must be opposed. But when those powers came, the community was not able to be convinced. Some were convinced. Some turned to the ideology of equity for perceived safety. Some turned the the Ideology of hypocrites because of what most did not do. Most did nothing. Evil wins when good people do nothing, and scared people do their worst.

Well Islamophobia is not a crime, so by law, we can be as Islamaphobic as we want to. Since today is the 9/11 anniversary, this is the day to bash all Muslims and demand apologies for the 3,000 + lives lost 21 years ago.

Grew up in a country that is mostly Catholic. I was brought up Catholic. I went to a Protestant elementary school. A part of my extended family are Jehovah Witnesses. My brother converted to Islam over a decade ago. And 2 of the last 4 Prime ministers were Jewish. People of different faiths can coexist without an issue. My advice for those who are scared of muslims is to open a bible and read it. Some of the verses don't exactly promote peace and love if you know what I mean.😅

There are always some simple people that generalise and blame all. Bin Laden was after all an ally for a while and received extensive training and logistical support. Same goes for Saddam and a bunch of other dictators worldwide. Practice what you preach, if you don’t you’ll be branded a hypocrite and this is what the western civilisation has come to be viewed as, a bunch of hypocrites that preach human rights and democracy but support dictatorships and exploit others for profit. The internet especially gave the people a look behind the curtain and people now know the play that has been played for what it really is; the continuation of colonialism and imperialism with other means such as economical exploitation by installing willing puppet dictators or totalitarian regimes after overthrowing local, democratically elected governments and playing local powers against each other to stay on top of the power structure. Today we know that Saudi Arabia and Qatar support, finance and harbour islamist terrorist groups, they after all have the sharia as law, something that goes fundamentally against our ethics. I grew up as a Baptist in a African American household and I converted to Islam when I was 13 years old. Honestly I get treated different for being Muslim by non Muslims and also get treated differently ftom middle eastern Muslims. I often get labeled as a NOI when I am actually Sunni.

There is a self righteous ideology, that feels unheard, and will still vote for a lesser of two evils. It seeks to stop the opposing force because they are opposed. They hypocritically throw away all they stand for in the hopes they will gain victory, but in the end they will lose everything.
There is a moderate ideology, that believes the individual is responsible for themselves, and communal efforts need to be negotiated. Rising authoritarian powers must be opposed. But when those powers came, the community was not able to be convinced. Some were convinced. Some turned to the ideology of equity for perceived safety. Some turned the the Ideology of hypocrites because of what most did not do. Most did nothing.

Polytheists, or Musyrik/Musyrikin, like the number ayat you said, At-taubah 9:5, they're called as Musyrik/Musyrikin : is the belief in multiple deities, which are usually assembled into a pantheon of gods and goddesses, along with their own religious sects and rituals.

@@DST-1-hp depends the westernized Muslims are far less "innocent" especially when they aren't the majority even in some cases that isnt true, when they are it's a different story. I've seen people who have bountys on their heads because they insulted their religion in countries like India despite them being a minority. Westernized country on the other hand are way more strict and powerful, Muslims know they cant misbehave like they want to (which they still find a way to).

The bounties on the head are made by hardcore followers and we cannot judge all muslims. Also, most likely it is not that muslims can't misbehave like they want to, it is that they are influenced by the surrounding peace and genuinely believe islam is peaceful.
