@@ivangonzalezpolaiii1223 I have no idea what particular minuet the professor was presenting as an example :). Minuet is a generic name for a composition based on a specific rythmical pattern: just like you have different mazurkas, waltzes or polonaises, you also have loads of minuets, because this was a popular dance performed on courts at the time, so composers wrote numerous pieces comprising that rhythmical pattern.
I find the instructor extremely patronising and not very clear. What should be corrected is the movement of the boy's shoulders, and this he does not even bother to notice.
Let the kid play without constantly interrupting him. I am an amateur pianist currently working to re-learn this beautiful waltz Icould play it when i was younger) and i do not really learn much of importance from this video.
The kid and the professor is so wholesome
No doubt that kid is soon gonna compete in Chopin Competition. Only 11 and... wow!
Lowenthal's squeaky shoes seem to be very well miked...
The boy is very talented...
What a Great masterclass! Wish it was a bit longer

È un eccellente compositore ed ha un buon metodo di insegnare Chopin

The kid plays like etude. Don't feel waltz agogic.
