I call this as sick person's food that I love. I believe pork/chicken balls from your luffa soup's recipe can be added here too, so that it will look my late mother's mee sua soup. I am actually gathering multiple of your recipes to mix and match to create something new...haha
Hi L.S. Yew, thank you for sharing 😀 That's a lovely memory! Yes, those pork/chicken balls would go very well here. I'm very happy that you're experimenting with different dishes to create something new. Please do keep me posted on new creations as I would also like to learn from you 😀
Nothing to learn from me as I am only stealing ideas from different recipes to be used in another recipes. However I got A to Z to learn from you...lol....I am just a beginner.
Hi Schneivan Ang. Yes, for me it's good enough and don't need the chicken broth. However, the chicken broth can be used as preferred. It will surely make the soup become sweeter and richer in flavor. Thank you for the comment 😀
Hi Gayanba4life Gayanba4life. Bee Hoon and Mee Sua texture are different when put in the hot soup. I wouldn't recommend to replace it with Mee Hoon as the taste and texture will definitely be different. I have a noodles soup recipe, which this can be replaced with the bee hoon ruclips.net/video/8x7aricygEs/видео.html. Happy cooking 😀😀
Hi QueenD799. Sorry for the late reply. Mee sua and beehoon are not the same. Mee Sua is a flour vermicelli which is very soft and melts in the soup while beehoon is a vermicelli noodles it's not soft, it retrain the shape when cook with soup or stir fry. I hope this helps. thank you for the question. :)
Hi Kiat Keng Kang, welcome back 😀 I don't suggest washing the mee sua as it can easily become soft and break into pieces. I personally do not wash them 😀 However, if washing is preferred, they can be rinsed under running water for a short while right before cooking. Hope it helps 😀
My brother once quipped this kinda hospital meal, I prefer it daily but my wife against it. I can live with mee sua, soo hoon as long as it's on soup with veggies, meat and seafood rotation. 😂
@@HomeCookingwithSomjit My wife prefer mee sua cook in sambal and put it on slices of fried brinjal/terung/egg plant...I h**e it, but I keep to myself 😝😁😀😂

Hi may I know if this recipe is flavourful enough or do I need to make chicken broth
Hi Schneivan Ang. Yes, for me it's good enough and don't need the chicken broth. However, the chicken broth can be used as preferred. It will surely make the soup become sweeter and richer in flavor. Thank you for the comment 😀
Can we make this without adding the garnishing? My kids only eat plain noodle soup 🥲
Hi Murshi Zul, thank you for the comment 😀 Yes, definitely! It will be very tasty even without the garnishing. Hope you and your kids will enjoy it 😀
