Deadly AOA

- Deadly AOA was inspired by the amazing manuevering capability of the Sukhoi SU-27. It was created using FS2004 and Adobe After Effects. Time for creation was a combined 20 hours.
The beautiful Poem at the end was created by a well known aviator, I dedicate this video to all the Men and Women who've tasted the beauty of Flight.

Thankyou! The plane is form Alphasim SUkhoi collection, pretty nice plane to fly, stalls constantly when you try hard manuevers...really hard to make it go wild without crashing. Yes you're correct, Da Vinci! I love that poem! It's soo true.

Hi larueferguson and thankyou very much! There were two songs spliced together for this video and one song at the end during the poem. The first 2 songs are from the movie 'Transformers' composed by Steve Jablonsky
a. Deciphering the Signal
b. Soccent Attack
The song during the poem is from the movie 'Fracture' called "Call me Later" composed by Jeff Danna & Mychael Danna

Thanks f0kk3r10, If I had put the cokpit views of those manuevers I would've gotten Air Sick!!! Those were very disorienting flights!!!

I was thinking about doing the Mig-29 too, let me see what clicks in my mind the next few days. Been running out of ideas lately
hehe..fsxflyer is right. This is a hobby. A fun one at that. You get to take something you like to do normally, which is fly simulators, and then put a little creative energy and create a presentational video for people to enjoy. Probably the best hobby you can have on a computer if you ask me. Cheers.

THANKS! I'm not too sure what that manuever is called, frankly, I'm not too sure you could pull it off in real life either, but it's quite a view from the cockpit as you can imagine! And VERY difficult to do without making the velocity vector point behind you, which FS2004 REALLY doesn't like you to do!

I think I'll try that. MSFS isn't a combat simulator however, so I wouldn't quite put it down so harshly. It offers tons that LOMAC doesn't have. It is mostly a civil aircraft simulation. But for actual combat simulation , you can't get any better than LOMAC from what I heard. So I guess I'll get it!
LOMAC would've been awesome to use! At least then I would've been able to pull some really legit manuevers.

You know what, I'm going to release this one and slow the song down or change the pitch of it so their software can't pick it up and match it.
There is no question about your directing talent. The quality of this video is just out of the ball park. One thing i don't understand though is, the the majority of this video seems to demonstrate the superiority of this aircraft. But in the middle of no where, came a bunch of crash scene. What exactly is the message you want to deliver to your viewers? Is this aircraft a worthy adversary in the sky or not? There are some well documented air show crash scenes for the Migs. Is that it?
