    Would also LOVE a video simply telling us the best length, power and action for a rod for specific techniques. Jerkbait, worm, crankbait, topwater etc etc. doesn’t matter price or brand, just those exact length power and actions. Then we can apply that to our personal price points. As always, LOVE your videos!!!!

    The Dobyn's Fury line at $129 might be a consideration for the TB community. The casting rods are spec'd mostly with heavier actions but a good option for finding veratile rods that can fish mutliple baits.

    I fish daily here on Allegheny in SW Pa. My goto setup 99% of the time is a Tatula XT 2pc 7' med/fast with a Tatula LT MQ 2500D-XH. I primarily run 12lb Invisx on it.
    A lot of chatterbaits, etc.
    Love this setup. Super light weight in hand and can handle the majority of what I throw at it walleye, and bass wise.
    Occasionally I will link up with a cat or a nice sized drum like I did the other day.
    Love the Tatula XT rod lineup. Offers a lot for $99.
    Full Fuji giides and reel seat, etc.
    I bank fish and run a 2pc simply because it spends time on my pack when moving to various spots.

The fish industry has got better for cheaper guys. ABU Garcia, Lew's and Ugly stick Like the Lew's LZR PRO medium heavy fast combo and the Lew's classic medium fast combo or ABU Garcia MAX Z medium heavy combo UGLY Stick carbon fiber combo medium for the money is good for cheap guy like me 😮 they just work for me. This makes me think of 35 years of fish I've done. Good video guys.

    So with that being said about the 300 size is the 200 Tranx truly not worth it for a swim bait rod?

    • @tacticalbassin
      @tacticalbassin  6 месяцев назад +3

      There are a lot of guys swimbaiting on 200 size reels these days, it's definitely a trend. We've done this for a very long time, and once you've had a teener lock up a 200 (doesn't matter which one) and you couldn't turn the handle any more... you never forget that loss. I won't be caught tempting a giant with anything smaller than a 300 with oversize gears 👍🏼

    Hey Guys, I know you mentioned the actions are more parabolic for the casting Daiwa Aird X, but are the actions true to the medium and medium heavy ratings? I was looking at the 7' Medium Daiwa Aird X for throwing 110 sized Jerkbaits. Is the med good for that or would you recommend the MH? Appreciate your input. Thanks!

    One thing why do the newer rods brake faster on the tips just by banging it on each other 🤔 the old one never happened that I've seen out of my hole family fishing for over 100 years that I know of ya in the window or car door or ramed it in too something else to break the rod tip off. Got a Lew's Xfinity medium light 6" size 10 reel combo on clearance $12 because the tip was broken off 2 inches 🤔 fixed it for $3 fix worth it. Now 5"10 rod

    Ight after watching y’all for over 2 years I finally picked up a 7,6 flipping expride. Went fishing with it twice now and the expride and my tatula 7’6 Same reels and line and baits and my conclusion is the tatula is just as sensitive as the expride but the tatula is a-lot lighter and feels more balance. The expride feels too heavy. And it’s half the price as the expride. Wish y’all would to a full review on the tatula 7’3-7’6 med heavy fast and tell me of another 150 rod that’s more sensitive lighter and Balance for the same or less.

      That’s because Daiwa is King 👑. I’ve fished with every brand there is and Daiwa reigns supreme. For my rods I use zenaq there the best in the world. Nothing even comes close. Once you fish zenaq you will never go back. I promise you this.

      @@tims_always_fishing7117 bro I don’t need to weigh them. If you fish a rod for any amount of time then pick up another rod you can tell witch is balanced better and feels lighter in your hand.. I’m not saying that the expride is a junky rod but hearing these guys talking about these rods for years now I finally was able to pick one up and for the price my tatula is a better rod. Just as sensitive and better balanced and feels way lighter in the hand for 1/2 the price. Ps I also had my buddy that I was fishing with fish both rods to see witch one he thought was the better rod and he had the same conclusion as me one wasn’t more sensitive than the other but one was lighter and better balanced and it was the cheaper rod.
