Wipro smart plug is turning on the AC , but cannot run the pre-set 'Swing' and 'Temperature' in AC. It also cannot change the 'Mode' and 'Fan Speed' of AC. You have to use the remote control to do all these things.

It depends how your overall connectivity works. If you are using the whole setup using Bluetooth then it might not work because it depends on Bluetooth range. It would be best if you have wifi router in your home, then you don't need to be in home to control it, you can control it anywhere in the world where you have data network in your mobile or tab...I am using a similar device from other brand, and working fine..!

@@TechScrewIndia Home assistant raspberry pi pe install ho jata hai. Vo google aur alexa ki tarah he hai bas automation processing in house hoygi naaki alexa ya google ki tarah cloud pe.

It is not connecting to 5 GHz TP Link Wifi router. I use 5 Ghz speed in order to run OneMesh feature for mobile phones. I can connect it to 2.4 GHz wifi router speed, but then the internet browsing speed will go down from 5 GHz to 2.4 GHz.

If you are using google assistant and it is set up properly. You can give command to turn on or off the switch without even touching your phone even if your phone is locked and in your pocket. 😇

You do not need any device. You can install alexa app or google home app and setup plug in that.

If you turn off appliances through the app when the power is cut and restore again the appliance will start automatically, my AC is running when i am not in my home if is close by the app not by switch.
