Nonetheless, he pauses for damn too long and then ooooh Ben's eyes widen like he can't actually believe was he's noticed. Just seeing Ben's face change, the relisation and the confusion on Callum's face - cause he's like _what? Why you looking like that?_ And Ben's dramatic sighing!! Basically Ben over dramatising his reaction, playing with Halfway, keeping him on edge, which makes Halfway panic and his head just follows Ben, cause he's paranoid, he wants to know what Ben's realised. Good representation of being in the closet there ngl. Ben makes a point of smelling him, and now everyones confused, but the "I smell queer" really fucking had me. Like WAIT _WHAT_ I'm sorry WHAT And so Halfway backs away, tears already in his eyes, making Ben sure. And jeez does Callum deny all that Ben says but you can see it in his face that it's the truth. Highlighting their similarities was a good move, the whole "I've got so and so". And then the tone change from Ben's "So what!?" really showed how serious this is, despite all of Ben's taunts and messing around with Halfway, it really is a big thing. "...... I guess that's why they call you halfway." I can't explain how much I fucking loved this bit. Like YES WOW. I genuinely want Callum to be bi now, but I think they might go for being gay with him. Basically, I adored this scene sorry for the long comment lol

Also I agree with you that Ben has definitely changed a lot and they do portray him as bad he has always had a dark side and I think Paul definitely changed him but since Paul’s gone he has brought out his dark side more although we see he’s does have a good side because of how he is with Lexi and when he was crying over Paul to Callum.
