    The only thing what I knew till now for this town was the football team "Jaro".Now I know that there is very nice wooden town and beautiful park (Skolparken).Very good walk!

    That wooden courthouse at the square is a beautiful building..Build by the Russians?

      I agree, the city hall is really beautiful. It was finished in 1877 and was designed by Finnish architect Georg Wilenius. Fairly rare public buildings were built or designed by the Russians back then. This was because Grand duchy of Finland was autonomous part of the Russian Empire.
