- This beautiful piece is actually part of my warm up routine. Very interesting that the things we once worked very hard on achieving at some point become routine... food for thought.

Dear bass brothers and sisters, I have now also added the sheet/tab for this piece. Link in video description. Have fun!
Wow, you are simply amazing. Just trying to remember the whole thing would drive me crazy 😂....I love listening to classical music, but playing it is another whole different thing,,,,
Ironically the more complex a passage is the easier it sticks in my memory 😅 Very often simple repetitive passages throw me off 😂
Beautyfull ! Congratulations !
Thank you very much!
As we say, someone's hell is someone else's routine !
If you're going though hell keep going. It was hell for me too back when I started working on it. Step by step, you got this!
Exquisite ! I love classical pieces ❤️
Thank you so much! I love looking into other genres than my main ones (rock and metal) for inspiration and new techniques. Glad you enjoyed my version 😊
@@hateva_on_bass same. I also play rock music but I was an orchestra kid so I still study classical music and I also try to write some.
For me it's the other way round, I got into rock and metal as a teen and only started looking more and more into classical music in my mid-20es, and then more as I started learning cello.
I'd love to listen to your compositions when you are ready to share them with the world!
@@hateva_on_bass thanks I'd really appreciate the feedback
Superb!
Thank you very much!
Congratulations and thank you ! From reading the tab, your bass is tuned on fifths intervals instead on fourths like the usual B E A D G C, why is that ?
Thank you! 😊 My bass is tuned in fourths like usual, Bad Larry is just tuned down. So going from regular 6-string bass tuning B E A D G C --> 1 whole step down for every string: A D G C F Bb.
As for why: I mainly play rock and metal, so open low D and open G and C are a luxury. Many moons ago I learnt some material for a project (which I didn't end up being part of in the end) that specified this tuning, and I have kept it ever since because I like it.
@hateva_on_bass ah i get it, i got your tuning wrong. Makes sense then. I appreciate your capacity to shift from Metal to Cello suite nr 1. Bach rocks !
@annegpsy Bach was definitely a rocker before rock was even a thing. 😁 I love classical music and other genres too, there is so much great music to be discovered. Rock and Metal are just where I feel most at home. 😊 I appreciate your comments, have a great weekend!
fantastica
Thank you!! :)
Would you mind if I use a clip of this as a short for my channel?
Not at all, thanks for asking! Feel free to share. If you could add a link to my channel or my Instagram that would be awesome 😊🙏🏻

Hi dear, send me please your tabs
Sorry, I don't have a tab for this one, but if you google "Bach Cello Suite 1 pdf" you can find the sheet music. Since the piece was written for cello it's already in bass clef.
@@hateva_on_bass well noted with thanks 🙏
@@redneck1680 Hey, I've transcribed it with tabs now. Link for download in video description if you still need the tab.
