I found it amazing how quickly and precise she moves her fingers. As a cellist, this is absolutely crazy to me.
As an electric bassist, cellist, guitarist, and drummer, I'm just as dumbfounded as you are.... her bow control.... I've played upright, not a master by any means.... but I know what goes into moving that bow across that broad string base and you combine that precision with her fingering and its just incomprehensible almost.... And so CLEAN.... if you didn't tell people this was on bass, many people would just assume its a meaty sounding cello. Unbelievable.
You can see "fast hands" on every stringed intrument, but I must admit that on the upright bass, it's mind boggling

I really enjoy seeing the bass played as a lead or solo instrument. It's so full and resonant. Probably my favorite string tone.

Bah oui, c'est déjà un morceau incroyable, et la contrebassiste l'interprète avec une sincérité presque indécente. Particulièrement le dernier passage, où on y trouve la note la plus aigue, le point de rupture. Euh... pff trop forte, en fait.
