Will the AI be benifitting 1.4 billion people. Countries like west have less population they need machines for their work . Don't copy west . We Indians have other problems . Already computerd has taken . Many jobs. Now AI will be next ( if you think it's a bcz of lack of knowledge of Technology that people are loosing their job ) then let me remind you. Not necessarily. Narayan Murthy is an electrical engineer, for example.
Take ISRO. It's run by mechanical, electronics and chemical engineers.
But unfortunately we people tend to label engineers in high tech fields as scientists.
So basically engineers who do good are "promoted" in public eyes as scientists and those who don't remain engineers only.

12:58 Who said our curriculum is outdated? Who said students are not connected with industry? I’m from a regular engineering college of mumbai and our syllabus is very good it focuses on all fundamentals of computer engineering and also has electives subjects like AI,ML,DWM,ADBMS,etc. they have placement training cells which trains students at industry level very rigorously. We should stop blaming education system and colleges and should see if students are sincere or not. So stop saying this baseless things Just to get attention and loyalty from students
