Do you remember as a kid making paper aeroplanes, you'd always do the little fold at the tip of the wings? It was just this myth that it made it better and people would argue over it. Then all of a sudden on modern Aircraft in the past 15 years they have all copied that design lol.

I travelled from East Midlands for the first time just 2 days before you did this vlog Lee! My experience was pretty good and hassle free, but I was only on a Ryanair flight to Belfast (then onto Bristol with easyJet).
I'm flying to Benidorm Thursday morning mate can't wait I'll watch this after my pub visit. Onwards

Punishment for speakerphoning on transport is listening to The Smiths on loop for the rest of your life! We no longer do coach transfers, I used to rent cars in the Canaries now we get private car transfers. Much easier - the driver is there waiting for you and you just sail past everyone. Recommended (as are airport lounges).
We have been lucky the last 2 years with the TUI transfer coach, there was only 1 stop and that was our hotel.
The transfer coach is great Lee .. you get to see where everyone else is staying

Nah mine was left for over three weeks no problems. Turned on OK. Lee's 12v was faulty. Mines three yrs old and sound as a pound.

made a fuss over a couch journey from Alicante to hotel on a air conditioned couch watching the scenery no problem but drives twenty odd hours in a milk flout stopping in crap hotels hours of charging 😢
When I book transfers, there's usually an upgrade option that makes you one of the first drop offs and one of the last collections. It's well worth the money.
I’ve never seen that. There are express ones where there is a maximum of 4 drops. It would be impossible to do what you are saying. Because if everyone picked that how would it work?

We Stayed at the Hotel Benidorm Centre last year. Really nice hotel. Very clean, great staff. And food was really nice. Excellent location. Would highly recommend. Just the jet2 xfer that takes so long. Would book private xfer next time. Would be so much quicker.

Lee, book online with Alsa Bus €15 return from Alicante to Benidorm, drops you off at the bottom of Avenida de Europa rather than going all round the houses. 👍

I keep forgetting that the East Midlands Airport exists. Originally an RAF base, commercial since 1965, huge air cargo hub, mostly discount airlines and tour operators otherwise. That it has ONE runway only is bizarre to any American, but very common in Europe.
My birthplace in Illinois, a city that’s never had over 100,000 people and is now nearer 75,000, has an airport with three runways in an equilateral triangle a mile on a side, one extended to about 8500 feet and a second to about 6800. I guess we Americans have land to waste and we love having lots of runways. Very limited airline service there, government-subsidized or there would probably be none.
