- Allie Sherlock performing ‘Perfect’ by Ed Sheeran live on TV3 The Ray D’Arcy Show on 3rd February, 2018. She discusses working with One Republic’s Ryan Tedder who has collaborated with the likes of Beyonce, U2 and Allie's all time hero, Adele.
Allie is a 12-year-old musician from Cork, Ireland. She is used to busking on Grafton Street, Ireland. She’s best known for her rendition of Ed Sheeran’s ‘Supermarket Flowers’. She has recently appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and This Morning.

No. Busking isn't TO MAKE MONEY. It's to sing for people for anyone who will listen and people sometimes give money to show appreciation for the music.
I think buskers can be partly doing it to earn money. Begging is when you just ask for money, not playing or singing anything - so it's not the same. There are some buskers who are very good performers - even some people who play in proper orchestras can do it. It's like a form of street entertainment.

I have been around music all my life, I have to say that Allie is probably the most remarkable talented singer I have ever ever heard in my life. If I had the money I would snap her up in a second, she is just one in a trillion singer with a richness and vocal range that is just hard to find. I am totally blown away by her talent. Thousands can sing and in tune too, but they lack that special creamy voice and that vocal expression in tone, she has that special thing that is hard to pin down. She has a golden rare voice. Good luck to her, she is truly great!

I was not aware that she had gone through a bullying incident. I was wondering if there was a story or something someone could be refer me too. The other statement just meant that there are trolls going to make negative or trashy comments and they make a basement career out of it. I see how my post reads wrong. Definitely did not mean that. Dad said he's yet to see a man cry in the crowd. Well Dad, Allie's made me cry with that AMAZING voice. She's absolutely incredible and I don't say that lightly. I know music and Talent well and That's pure God given Talent (and of course a lot of work on Allie's part). I don't just hear music, I feel it, with my soul and the goosebumps are CRAZY. I just heard her version of Hallelujah and OMG I cried. There's 100 versions of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah and the only one I like is Jeff Buckleys. Now, I LOVE Allie's. Keep her safe Dad, she's precious and will be famous sooner than you can imagine!!!

I think Allie and Grace VanderWaal are part of a tectonic shift in the music business away from gimmicks, stage theatrics, auto tuning, and hype towards pure talent. I’d rather listen to Allie on stage with a guitar and nothing else than any of the current mainstream superstars with 10 dancers, pyrotechnics, and a laser light show. Allie has such a beautiful, emotive, natural, raw voice. I can only imagine that under Ryan T's guidance, and some professional vocal training, Allie will learn how to control her vocal power properly and strengthen her vocal range, the highs, and the lows.

Was just stumbling around YT and found this amazing young lady's songs, clearly as usual the bullies are just dam jealous of her talent. I'm happy her father is her manager but hope he understands how ruthless the record industry is. Many young talents have been led down the garden path by record companies.
