I use it on my skin and in my diet after my new puppy was treated for mange. She was discovered in the desert and was malnourished. Her coat was a mess and ears were rigid like cardboard. Coconut oil was her miracle cure. I figured it couldn’t hurt. I love how my 74 year old skin looks and feels.
Coconut oil reduce the excess oil from your skin, because oil wash out oil, it dosent clog your pore as after their use you would wash it all. You may apply it after a clean face but is better at night where it will absorb it and give their benefits. Some doctors dosent advice it because most of their patients come with akin conditions that maybe Acne or rosacea and in that case they arent advixe it. If you have mix skin, oily or dry and dont have any acne prone skin, coconut oil is just the best.

Only use a LITTLE as you don't want greasy hair. You can put more on, leave it set for an hour or so, then wash your hair. That is a mask treatment for the hair. It makes a very good conditioner and a good hair dressing. As long as you are "greased up" rub into your skin, face, etc.
I usually use either coconut oil or olive oil. I'm 59 and people don't ever believe I'm that old. However I will say that 98% of that is genetic, 1% clean living & 1% oil, lol.

Aloe Vera juice directly from the leaves is also great at moisturizing and is great at helping with inflammation in the skin. I mix it sometimes with a little of my SPF with HA.

It will reduce the strength of the tretinoin but will also reduce irritation

Growing up my mom had an aloe Vera plant and would put it directly on our cuts and dry skin 👍

Would test one area. If you’re acne prone it can clog pores but usually skin is quite dry after accutane

For blackheads and acne I recommend benzoyl peroxide wash in the morning and adapalene at night (use every 2-3 nights for awhile and work up)
