Door-to-door sellers always ask me if there's an adult at home which works for me because I tell them no and they go their way ( I'm not mean, i just dont need what they're selling), when i buy something its hard to convinced them and i have to show my id to prove my age, it sound silly but it happens a lot. Well, the thing is that I occasionally eat junk food, I cook everything by just using water or just a table spoon of oil if it really needs to and I drink a lot of water, specially Alkaline water and, I always get compliments about how clear my skin is and my glow. Of course, I used moisturizer, but I dont have a brand, I just go to the store and grab one. I think water is the key as well 😉.

Wear your sunblock. Don't forget to apply to your neck and ears.
It's never too late to start.
sunblock or your typical sunscreen causes cancer it causes skin cancer I would never use sunscreen or sunblock unless I was out in the sun all day and I'd take it off as soon as I could. Too many chemicals.
I have been borderline obsessive about using sunscreen and being sun-safe my whole life so obviously I support ‘wear your sunblock’, but there is a genetic component here too (as well as other factors, of course). It’s entirely possible you got lucky in the genetics lottery and that that’s helped a bunch.
The only expensive products you may -pay- invest in are a retinoid and a sunscreen that your skin can tolerate. Quality shoes and bras as well.
You said it Abby 👍
Beauty stat vitamin c skin refiner is the best! 20% and worth every penny 🙌🏼❤️
She looks a good fresh 40... Thank you for sharing this great info
Lady u look young..good for you.. ❤
Ferulic??? Couldn’t understand what she was saying. Never heard of it🤷♀️
It’s the most clinically researched vitamin C serum in the world.. Look it up. SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic
Is ferulic acid the same as vitamin f?
56?!? She clearly is doing something right
yah, her filter game.
Skin Ceuticals is the best Vitamin C! I’ve tried 7 others and no comparison ❤
Vitamin C oil vanishes my zits if any come up. I also then am aware I've eaten too much sugar and carbs 😂
The skinceuticals c and e with ferulic acid is the gold standard. The only other thing I would add is wearing spf daily
That’s what she’s talking about in the video. When I used it, it was the best my skin has ever been. No breakouts, cleared any hyperpigmentation I had. I’m 44 and I don’t wear makeup and my skin looks great.
She’s 56!? Wow. She looks amazing.
She looks early 60s to me.
Naturium Vitamin C Complex. Its great and available at Target for around $20. 😊
Thanks for sharing
I don’t believe she’s been using this for that long!!!!!, the things some people will say and do for money, never ceases to amaze me.
What makes you think that?
So true.
Shes def NOT 56yrs..lies
@@scarby77when my mum was 56 people thought she was 40! If you have a healthy diet and good skincare with vitamin C included, olive oil and other natural organic products like weleda you can achieve healthy younger looking skin. Its not too hard to believe these days. Also these days we have the best skincare available. My mum is now almost 67 this year and looks in her early 50’s. I also saw many youtube videos with women who used vitamin C for many years and they also look sooo much younger for their age.
That's great!... YOU still def aren't 56yrs
I drink micro c, use witch Hazel w aloe, and Dr. Brenners . I only exfoliate about 1x wk with sugar. Im 52 people say I look at least 15 yrs younger.
Micro C? Can you tell me about that? I know how important it is, but my skin can’t seem to tolerate a vit c. I use castor oil and frankincense on my under eyes, and it has done literal miracles for my fine lines and dark circles. My cousin is an esthetician and owns a fancy med spa in Houston, and she couldn’t believe it was just 2 simple oils. I use a 20% glycolic acid to exfoliate every other day, and I have loved that so much more than physical exfoliation. My skin barrier has been 😍 chefs kiss!
@@bronwyngavin607620% glycolic acid , is that a a peel or just an exfoliant?
im 56 too & i use a much more affordable Vit C. Its Face Theorys Regena C 30.Ethyl Ascorbic acid.
Its wonderful @£34
I've tried it and didnt notice much difference-- the ordinary's brand to be exact.
That brand isnt what shes referencing, the SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic has a patent
Lot of ordinary are counterfeit. I don't think I would buy another one from them. Drop in garbage bypass the middle man
Castor oil & frankincense oil work amazingly well.
Where do you get the frankincense oil?
@@doctor-abby I use baking soda & water to wash with. Sometimes I use olive oil instead of caster oil.
@@doctor-abby I purchased mine from Amazon.
Love this. There's probably a reason they were gifts for Jesus. Myrrh, is great for I stand sore throat relief. Mix with water, gargle, spit out.
@doctor-abby I get essential oils from my local health food store
Fresh lemon wedge massaged into clean face or left on for 10 minutes is my vitamin C choice.
That can give certain people worst burns of their lives. You can use 100 times no problem. It just takes that 1 time to get nasty lemon burn.
I would bet that dermatologists would say the most important thing you can use on your face is sunblock.
I’ll be honest - I don’t agree with using cheapest moisturiser around , not that it has to be expensive but we need to start educating people on ingredients also .
My moisturiser is £12 or $15 , yet the ingredients are all brilliant and nothing that could irritate your skin.
Literally all naturally derived ingredients, so I do understand that price shouldn’t be all that matters but ingredients are really important to talk about too.
Ok I’m starting using it this week! 😂
I'm not buying this lady's story.. the #1 thing to use on your face would hands down be Tretinoin (with SPF every day). I struggle with treatment resistant melasma, and have not found Vitamin C to do anything for my skin problems..
I started with retin A for acne in my late teens but when I added skinceuticals vit C in my 30s it elevated my results. I'm 57 and still using both. For me those 2 ingredients are crucial BUT if I was forced to choose it's Retin A all the way!
I dont but blush palettes either,,but i did get that blend bunny blush palette, the one with the purple, yellow and orange blushes and its great, i use it to ombre my blush on my own with the colors they have in there it works great
What is your opinion about the Ordinary's resveratrol & ferulic acid serum?
I hear Tretinion Cream and Estradiol but then I watch this. I swear it changes everyday.
Well, I'm just in my early 30's, and I have 2 kids, one is a teenager that people swear is my brother, and my youngest has never been confused for my daughter, everyone thinks they're my siblings.
Wow! Iv been using the Korean brand timeless and it’s the amazing! Looks like now I know why!
Pretty much any Korean skin care is great!
SPF is actually the one thing you should use everyday
what do you think of the timeless vit c serum? I love that it's in a sealed pump
I like it a lot
Sorry sis, it helped my Melasma soooo much, I totally agree. Shake your head all u want 😂. But it works with my hormone issues! I’m three years without it, and everything came back. Polyphenol therapies and antioxidants do wonders for my Menopausal situation.
sorry, what helped your melasma? I am 53 and hormonal issues causing malasma
@@just_a_woman-h9s it’s a combo of a few things but by trying to balance the body back. Using whatever indicators your labs give. Always see a dermatologist of same ethnicity! Always
@@LoudBreather thank you. Stay blessed
I make my own - super easy
I bought Missha crrector serum with Vita C game changer
I love it so much, i glow...😊
I don’t do anything to my face but use crappy soap and a moisturizer with no scent , usually vit e , I’m 57 and my skin is great but genetically I’m dark hair dark eyes which helps a lot
I only use coconut oil and I look fab at 57!
What's an option for males?
Water to wash, salted water to drink and a daily kiss of sunshine. Perfect skin for 57 years
Broke me out like crazy, I was so mad!
I’m 50 and haven’t yet started using Ret A. Would getting CO2 laser treatment make up for lost time?
Yes it can but expect a decent amount of redness and scabbing for several weeks after
@@doctor-abby OK, Thanks!
I couldn't care less about aging. Do i miss my 20 something face and even my 30 soething face? Of course but time is going to do it's thing and i won't fight it. I hardly ever use moisturizer even. Seems like it breaks me out every time so i quit unless i'm really dry
I always told my friends that's all you need. It's the Holy Gail for a youthful appearance. It removes dark spots, dark circles around eyes, brightens skin and has anti-aging properties. It's an all in one. I have been using it for years and everyone says I am aging backwards.
Sleep with vasoline under your eyes, and around your mouth a little. I am 44, still dont even have one line let alone an actual wrinkle. And i literally use face lotion from the dollar store, for what i put on in the morning. Also, don't wear a lot if make up, all that touching around your eyes is going to give you wrinkles early
Isn't it too strong for the skin (cus of the Vit C)?
It's water. Soaking your face in water will fix most issues
You can probably open C and E capsules and make a serum. Cheap. Better yet, you can probably order C&E powder and make your own mixtures
Honestly, my go to formulation for Vit-C has always contained 3-0 ethyl ascorbic acid. Every serum I've tried with that particular form of Vit-C has worked for me, my skincare goals and my wallet.
The one thing you need to use on your face- any good Derm will tell you--SPF!
Yeah there’s no way I’m spending hundreds of dollars on overpriced products when brands like the ordinary exist. They have amazing products and are priced sooooo good.
Also, New Zealand skin care brands are really good and also sold for a very good price…. People rave about Korean skin products but I personally think New Zealand brands are far better and cheaper and not overhyped lol.
Water THATS what you need...just water. Wet your face 5 times a day...its hydrated and wrinkle free. ❤
