6 years later... Thanks! I did this same mod with 2 belts but made it into one big loop, dropped the magizine and when a belt loop runs out, I pull it off the front and load another one. No need to find a "starting point".

You can use the screwdriver you opened the case with to shove the tabs back under the bars, which will make it easier to close the case

I’m not sure how effective this would be but I had an idea: use the guide link (green piece) to connect 2 of those
For 2 vulcan chains you have to do a little cutting and replicate the unscrewing and popping off step
You can also just tape them together, but it will cause a firing issue, and you will have to hand feed through it
I don’t know what looks cooler havokfire or vulcan
