- This will be part 1 of my Dyno day video with my project Schneider SLK55 AMG. Had a issue with me making a goof but in the end I have some data I could use, to continue my progress with tracking Schneider.

Man, you really need to invest in a microphone setup. Really promising content and video work, but the audio problems make it hard to watch. Can barely hear you in some of these videos, with the volume cranked.

@@PANZERSGARAGE Hi there im loving it buddy, its pretty much standard at moment, just fitted some Eibach springs, love the noise of the V6, got some other mods planned later on in the year.
please keep an eye on how the sound is really loud than super low after during the video bro. It was hard to watch at night

Get kdw v3 shocks, camber plates, Pirelli Trofeo r tires, Corner balancing, and a strut tower brace. Possibly larger front and rear sway bars. Get a set of green air filters. I've been running 245 front, 275 rear tires, quarter inch spacers on the front to clear the strut on for the 245's. I have an slk55. I've been piecing my car together for the past 3 or 4 years. Someday I guess, I'll be ready to take mine to the track. Oh yeah the most important thing wavetrac limited-slip. another thing would be to get an accusump oiling system to protect the engine during hard cornering. I don't think the baffling in the oil pan is that great.

How reliable has the car been ? I’m thinking about getting one and I’m just not sure about the reliability. I know that the engine is good. But I’ve heard some things about the trans which isn’t always fun.
With every used car it all falls under maintenance. The trans is solid if a basic pan fluid change is done every 60k . This one has 113k miles on the clock and shifts like it should.
It goes down to finding that car car.
Drive it you will know right away if you found the right one.
These R171s are a piece of cake
Heyy we have the same car and also lost some power because when we got n it did 400hp and then after a couple of years it only made 340 so we went and put a dyno tune and fitted a supercharger and long tube headers and then we sent it for a dyno to check and it made over 550
Car has 350 stock Hp

Haha yes i thought it would be a solid 300/300 but im sure i can get up the HP up a bit to get that result.
I wonder if BMS would be able to adapt a turbo kit to your NA 55 like they have for their E500 :o

Oh, FFS, mic yourself up. If you're going to go to the trouble of making a vid like this, use a mic. It'll make you and your channel look, and more importantly sound, way more professional.
Definitely agree but I wasnt no expert or ever thought of a mic setup. My newer videos I have a mic as I was able to purchase one. Do apologize for this video as I know it could of have been more enjoyable. If you can view my newer vids you can notice and give me more feed back. I appreciate you 🤓👌

every stock 5.4 113 makes 295 to 310whp and 310/315lb ft.
If that's what you experienced than that's actually pretty good for a 15yr old AMG. Still healthy motor if I must say.
I just had my 05 clk 55 dyno’d it made 318hp and 340 tq to wheels. I was very pleased
Something is wrong with your car if you're only making 289. This car has been abused.
That's actually good for the current 3800 elevation.
It averaged 300 to the wheels.

That I agree on. It's normal from what I have learned when you start off than slowly tend to reduce the amount of talking and useless commentary lol. Hopefully you notice as you go to my more recent videos. Not to mention better audio and somewhat better editing 🤓🍺
