@@andre8273 Spencer has one of my favorite voices. tbh, I don't love everything they do, as they've gotten progressively more "scream-y" with time. And I can't into it as much. I feel a 50/50 ratio on screaming to regular singing is a nice merriment, and using it more sparingly is even better. But that's just my own personal preference. Safe is just a shadow was probably my favorite album, overall, but every album they drop always has a few stand outs that's I absolutely love. My taste has moved in a slightly different direction then where the band has been evolving, but I'd still rank them in my top 5.
Glad to see this comment. Too many people confuse their horror theme "identity " as them being a one trick pony when musically speaking they are so diverse and multi talented
Hell yeah, my sister wasn't a big fan until I took her to one about 6 years ago and now we have been tracking to hopefully see them again soon. They definitely put on a show. They are worth the ticket to go see. Wish we had seen them with Papa Roach and Ice Nine or even Bad Wolves, but we missed out this time around. Hopefully next tour.
HU has a strong catalog with 3 different types of sounds, heavy/serious playing nu-metal songs (Been To Hell, We Are, Undead, Black Dahlia), upbeat/silly with some light-hearted rap (No.5, Bullet, Everywhere I Go) and some that are somewhere in between (Whatever It Takes, Black Cadillac, Another Way Out). The upbeat ones have music videos were the lyrics are heavily censored, if you want to react to those you'd want to pick the lyric video so there's no gaps in the sound every other second. Welcome to the world of rock/metal, a lot of bands have strong followings that'll come around.
I really like your reaction! I see a lot of RUclipsrs who just repeat the lyrics and say "Oh I love this!" and that's their reaction. But you talk in depth about the video and the vocalists and you seem to know what exactly you are talking about so I want to see more of your reactions^^ Hopefully to Hollywood Undead, they have a lot more to offer :D
Love your reactions. Especially when you do church, adam, and tom. Would like to see what your reaction is to the Hu. Papa roach did one with them called wolf totem
I've been a fave of Papa Roach since 2000 and Hollywood Undead since 2008. They're both great bands, singers, rappers, songwriters. Saw both in concert. You should do more
You should check out more by both bands the Papa Roach band was one of the main bands to mix metal and wrap and Hollywood undead they basically do the same thing and they're really fire.
Great reaction! I never listen to rap, before Ronnie Radke (Falling in Reverse) made me give it a chance. There still aren't many rap artist I listen to, but HU were one of the first, I checked out and liked. Please check out "undead" and "idol" (feat. Tech N9ne) by them.
'WE ARE' by hollywood undead mate, the genre you're looking for is nu metal but im sure you already know that by now lol, this song got me so pumped when i reacted to it! its paying homage to 'streets of rage' from the 90's genesis console. awesome man!!
Hey, I heard you like live musical instruments on your Rittz video. My suggestion if you don't know about them, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. Two of my favorites are Big Country and Moment So Close. These aren't reaction suggestions, just something to add to the playlist that I think you will really enjoy 😁
I would love to see you dive into these guys. i have been a fan of them for prolly 15 years and if you love this song look into their older stuff. especially the album swan songs!
You should check out the song Idol, by Hollywood Undead featuring Tech N9ne. Thats a great one. Hollywood Undead has several good ones, one older one is called Levitate. One member went solo, Deuce, and one he did called America was pretty good. Just a few suggestions. Really enjoy your reactions! Keep it up! You're doing an amazing job!!!
There is so much in common between rap and metal and true rap and metal fans should all see that. Hip hop fans love the beats of metal, metal people like the different vocal delivery. There's plenty of other features but they are both rooted in young kids that have some angst and what to let that out. I'm a metal head but I love rap as well.
Fuck yeah Hollywood undead has been around for ages. Ice nine kills is amazing too! They have a while album dedicated to old horror flicks. This song is amazing to have that mix. I like how they reference ice9 when they say "I got ice in my veins" and then he sings. Do an I.N.K. song!
Been to Hell, I Don't Wanna Die and Bad Moon would be my 3 suggestions for more Hollywood Undead if you want to go outside the usual songs that people recommend. These 3 are bangers for different reasons.
Everyone's recommending HU songs and they are all strong recommends, but I 100% think you should check out Ice Nine Kills too, their lead singer handled most of the chorus on this colab, their last album is based off horror flicks and it's great.
If you enjoy horror movies you should check out the 5 video series by Ice Nine Kills. The do some amazing songs based on horror movies. Great live too.
You liked the first guy? His stage name is Johnny 3 Tears sometimes calls himself Johnny 3 or J3T but he’s (in my opinion) the best in the group but he has other really good verses like in Dead Bite, California Dreaming, Renegade, and Riot
New subscriber also please react to ice nine kills the one singing the chorus is Spenser charnas from ice nine kills Ice nine kills is a metal band with songs revolving around horror movies they have a album called the silver scream witch has songs about horror movies it’s awesome
Hollywood Undead are rapcore or rap with instruments where the focus isn't necessarily the rap but the music. Ice Nine Kills are great but they do that stupid ironic song title thing. Papa Roach is Papa Roach. Hollywood Undead - Been to Hell. Also is you like this agressive oddity of sounds stuff try out Ho99o9 and Ghostemane, new to the channel if you've reacted to them before.
Been here since day one. Can't believe I'm seeing someone react to Hollywood Undead. Please react to "Undead" by them. They are kind of like rap rock
True Story and that brochacho!
Hollywood Undead - Undead, their anthem basically(most famous song) after this you maybe will make a tradition to react on them continuously)
The first person that sang is from Ice Nine Kills. They are a crazy talented group too.
Ice Nine is easily one of my favourite bands, their last 2 albums are absolute masterpieces
@@andre8273 Spencer has one of my favorite voices. tbh, I don't love everything they do, as they've gotten progressively more "scream-y" with time. And I can't into it as much. For sure. Ice Nine is crazy cool. All the songs tied to horror movies are very unique. Check out Thank God It's Friday.
Glad to see this comment. Too many people confuse their horror theme "identity " as them being a one trick pony when musically speaking they are so diverse and multi talented
I saw Hollywood Undead live YEARS ago and they're the only band, I've seen in person, who actually got into the crowd and moshed with us!
Hell yeah, my sister wasn't a big fan until I took her to one about 6 years ago and now we have been tracking to hopefully see them again soon. They definitely put on a show. Hey, I heard you like live musical instruments on your Rittz video. My suggestion if you don't know about them, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. Two of my favorites are Big Country and Moment So Close. Linkin Park anything from them but definitely Crawling.
The song Undead needs a reaction but also.. one of the best songs + videos I've seen is Been to Hell! Watch it please, you will NOT be disappointed!!
Ought to do Bullet, it's a very dark (yet happy sounding) song touching on a touchy subject for many...🤔
Please revisit more Hollywood Undead... and also Ice Nine Kills!
Also congrats on the new HU fans
Everyone's recommending HU songs and they are all strong recommends, but I 100% think you should check out Ice Nine Kills too, their lead singer handled most of the chorus on this colab, their last album is based off horror flicks and it's great.
