Great vid, I’ve installed this kit a few times and a quick tip for that bump stop spacer is to drop the bolt and spacer into the hole, mark the bottom, take it out, thread the nut on to that point, and cut most of the excess off👍🏼
Teraflex stickers are a guaranteed 10 extra horsepowers... Been running Falcons for about a year now and I’m extremely happy with their performance. Got to end of vid; would def like to hang with y’all! I’m on the southeast NC coast; Come to the beach and get some sand time! 😎🤙🏼
Got to meet Ben wheeling his Gladiator on the OHV trails at Uwharrie National Forrest last weekend and he was a SUPER NICE guy! I accidentally mistook him for another RUclipsr at first, and I think he was only a little insulted :)! Wanted to say sorry for that mistake and thanks for this and all his videos! Keep 'em coming!!!
I’m running the 3.3’s on my JK, changed my whole perspective on my rig. I absolutely love them, and the adjustability really takes care of that harshness you were talking about at lower speeds. Granted it helps when you know the terrain ahead. Really looking forward to what’s in store for your Gladiator.
Did the 1.5” kit on my new ‘23 Willys, which in stock condition had the stance of a stink bug. The leveling kit in full 1.5” did the job, sits nice & level and retains the stock ride. To get the caster back I added the liver control arms from the Mopar 2” lift. I also added Teraflex’s 2” shock travel kit, which restores the stock shock travel & a bit more. All works great. Next may be those Falcons!
The leveling kit looks like a really good option. I have heard the falcon shocks are good quality. hope you keep your nuts tight from now on. You know that if your car works without the parts you took off, that you made it better.
I wonder why they call it the Carolina Squat. People out here in San Diego started that look back in the early 90’s, because there are so many deserts and places to off/road/prerunner. Most people could only afford to do front end long travel and coil overs($4-8k) on their truck and would do the rear when they were able to save up another $4K.
Ben, when do do eventually do a full lift kit how much lift are you thinking about? My Gladiator is on 3” of lift with 38” Patagonias and I think 4.5” would have been better to get the belly up higher. I’ve definitively been using the skid plates that’s for sure
I am with you 100% on the Carolina squat thing! I am going to watch all your videos much more closely! I feel like I am going to be doing just about everything you tape lol
Very interesting to watch your progression on small lift and fox socks. Looking forward to 37 and what is involved in that change over. Keep up the good work. OMB
you do NOT by a rubicon and use a SHITTY FUCKING levelling kit!!!!! they look like SHIT!! levelling kits are garbage !!!! AND THEY LOOK LIKE SHIT!! handling goes to shit !!! try towing like this and your lights point to the sky and dangerous handling!! AND THEY LOOK LIKE SHIT!! buy a complete lift !! not half a lift !! AND DONT LOOK LIKE SHIT!! outlaw shitty looking levelling kits ASAP!!!
Good call on the Falcons.. You should add a 3/4 to 1" spacer to the rear springs if you plan on going to 37's... *Which you have sitting in the yard. You look a little higher in the front, but that could be the video....
In this video it does look a little higher up front. After a day, the springs re-settled and it’s down .25”. I’m thinking of the rear spacers, we will see what needs to be done when the 37s are on. Thanks for watching 🤘
I did the same TeraFlex leveling kit on Becca's Jeep way back when. It was the first "Jeep mod" I ever did. You have seen my Falcon 3.3s. I am curious on how the mono-tubes feel. I do like that they put shaft guards on the JT version like they did for the TJ.
Jose Ortiz it wasn’t bad at all. It was done on a lift. It was part of a massive overhaul tho. Went from stock to long arm kit new axle etc. I’ve seen them swapped on the trail tho. As long as you can drop the axle enough it’s not bad at all.
Sure make me wish I woulda got a jt over my jlu but rubicons are pretty expensive for a new one, went from a gmc truck to a jku rubicon love it but sure like the bed like the level kit and wheels you put on man
Impressed by how easy that was! Great video! Forgive my solid front axle ignorance, but no alignment needed after that install?? I've been a driving a Tacoma for WAY too long 😊
@@JKGearandGadgets Just don't do a turbo like that dude on that other red Jeep channel. He didn't strengthen the internals and kept the compression ratio high, motor didn't last long. Sometimes free stuff ain't so free.
Great stuff abs very helpful. Has anyone lifted a High Altitude Gladiator and any suggestions on a 2-3” lift ?? The fenders are about 1,5” lower than Rubicon so I’m not going larger than a 35”. Thank you all. And keep up the great content.
@@JKGearandGadgets Nice, will do! Any places you recommend hitting in Northern VA for some rookie trails? I'm in MD and having trouble finding something somewhat local.
@@JKGearandGadgets Yeah, that's what I have heard... once I get a couple upgrades on mine I will be taking my JLU Rubicon out to AOAA. I appreciate the intel!
Curious on long-term tolerance of the stiffer shocks. I see that you since replaced them, but wanted to know if wife and kids complained how stiff the Falcons are? Needless to say, stock rubicon is little too cushy for me.
These are temporary (stole them from our LJ), but they are Mickey Thompson classics, painted with steelit. 4” backspacing if I remember correctly. The new wheels will be going on soon... and going to look amazing!
I totally dislike the factory rake, I’m binging everything I can until my gladiator can catch a ride from the factory….you said the fish eye camera might not have show the right stance for the level kit. I was looking at the body line in the bed and rear cab, and it looked like it was nose high?
Didn't you find the 2.1 shocks limit your uptravel due to the extra length of the shock body? I know you can install a bump stop but it kinda defeats the purpose of having a high articulation vehicle. The 3.1 or 3.3 is apparently a better choice because some of the shock body is moved outboard which allows for more travel. Let me know ?
You are right I have a 2019 ram rebel and I was shopping for new shocks. I got the falcons, the truck now feels amazing, Very planted , it makes a big difference with the falcons
Would those rims be considered gunmetal grey? If not, do you know how they’d compare to that color? Also, what is the backspacing and/or offset? Great video, thanks!
What if I jacked the Jeep up, dropped the axel as far as it could go, took a spring compressor shrink the spring down enough to get it out without unbolting anything. Would it work?
Ordered at JT Sport S Max Tow. Picking up next month. Bought Diesel Rubi take-off springs, shocks, teraflex leveling kit, Rubi wheels, & 35’s. I’m New to all of this but quickly getting hooked. Any advice on the specific tools needed would be appreciated. Love the channel. Thanks!

How it riding? Does it feel like stock?
Hi. Can I add a leveling kit to the Mopar 2 inch lift kit? I wish I had just a big more height but I just got the lift kit installed.
You weren't kidding. That bump stop bolt is ridiculous. Thanks for the video, made the install go super quick.

Good video, and you showed the installs well. But for one, I am not a fan of “spacer lifts”. Get a 4” lift and call it done
I will eventually! But this is a good step for someone who is unsure what lift to run/can’t afford a full kit yet

The falcons ride a lot better, and perform better than the factory Fox shocks.
