    The banner behind Aaron, "That others may live," reminds me of the archangel Gabriel. I have so much respect for you guys, PJs and all air force special warfare service men and women. You guys do the hard thing and are doing Gods work ❤ oops, Archangel Raphael, not Gabriel. I mix them up sometimes.

    48:17 I think you should do a podcast where it’s Trent in a room by himself reacting to all of Aaron’s mistakes

    how many times can i try out for special warfare before i’m told to hit the road? i hear the attrition rate is pretty high.

      Usually you get 2 at a time, one shot and a ‘refire’. After that, you’ll have to do another job, and that’s only if the cadre recommend to keep you.
      Crosstraining that remains pretty true. So, you can fail once, do another job, and come back and try as a cross trainer and get two shots (possibly) at it. Like me- I graduated on the 4th total Indoc team I tried.

    Any advice for someone thinking about cross training but doesn’t want to pull the trigger quite yet due to a reoccurring injury and doesn’t want to slow the team down for, especially as an NCO?

    • @OnesReady
      @OnesReady  8 месяцев назад +1

      I mean- when is your injury going to be "healed" enough? When is the "perfect time"? Everyone is hurt. Everyone has life get in the way. Everyone can make an excuse to wait. We can't tell you when you're "ready" because we didn't know if we were going to make it, either. We just went (except Trent he didn't graduate Indoc.)

    • @rexw2203
      @rexw2203 8 месяцев назад +1

      You're going to have the recurring injury bite you during the pipeline. As well as others like overuse-syndrome injuries such as tendonitis and bursitis and others etc...ad nauseum. Part of the gut-check during the pipeline is dealing with those issues that happen. Staying in the fight and being set back into another team and rolling with those punches is the lesson here. Hey, can I get that one-liter workout water bottle with "Cone" and a OnesReady logo on it we talked about earlier? Asking for a friend... XD

    I’m sure this question has been asked a million times (sorry trent 🗣️) but what’s some jobs that you guys would’ve done had it not been SR or Pararescue. I’m going to meps soon and have a few jobs including Pararescue, but I would like to hear what you guys were interested in.
