【ABOUT #JYYCIO 2021】
ヨーヨーの競技会に新しい方向性を確立し可能性を広げていく為、2020年に日本で開催されるヨーヨーカップとして”JAPAN YO-YO CUP”を設立。
世界中のプレイヤーが参加できるオンラインカップや、リアルカップ等、様々なイベントを開催致します。
“カップ”という名称を使用する意図は、現在日本で行われている”コンテスト”とはまた違うテイストの競技会を作るという考えからになります。
現在日本でクオリティを保ったヨーヨー競技会がとても少ない状態から、クオリティの高さは勿論、多様なプレイヤー目線で競技ルールを考案しより優れた競技会の提供、音楽項目点のジャッジに音楽専門家の起用、オンライン方式の起用により国際オープンカップを身近に体験できる場を提供、今後のオンラインカップ優勝者には国内外関係なくリアルカップに招待選手としてシード権と渡航費の授与(予定)を取り入れ、ヨーヨーコミュニティの活性化やイメージの向上を目指しております。
また、アーティストによるライブやDJでヨーヨーの競技会には必要不可欠の音楽選択肢を広げたり、オンラインカップならではの海外プレイヤーによる限定デモンストレーション等、出場者だけでなく多国からの視聴者の方々にも楽しんで頂けるコンテンツを組み込みます。
本カップは、1A(シングルハンドストリング)、2A(ダブルハンドルーピング)、3A(ダブルハンドストリング)、4A(オフストリング)、5A(カウンターウェイト)の5部門を2分間のフリースタイル形式で、アマチュア部門とオーバー30部門を1分間のフリースタイル形式で開催致します。
ジャッジには毎年ヨーヨー世界大会では必ず優勝者を出している日本の優れたヨーヨープレイヤー、ヨーヨーを知る音楽家を起用し、3つの項目による厳正な審査を行います。
我々は、本カップがこれからのヨーヨーコミュニティを担っていくプレイヤーの素晴らしい可能性を開花させるサポートになり、コミュニティを底上げしていけるようなイベントになるよう最善を尽くします。
JAPAN YOYO CUP (JYYCIO) was established in 2020 as a yoyo cup to be held in Japan. JYYCIO will propse new directions for yoyo competitions to expand their possibilities. We will hold various events, such as online cup, traditional cup, and more. Players from all over the world can participate in these events. The reason for using the name of cup is because of the idea of ​​creating a competition in a different direction from the contest currently being held in Japan. Currently, there are very few competitions in Japan that maintain good quality.
To provide a better competition, We will consider the rules based on the player’s point on view, appoint a music expert to act as music judge and provide a place where you can experience the International Open Cup closely by adopting the online method.
The winner will be given a seed and travel expenses as an invite player to the Real Cup not only domestic but also international players and aiming to revitalize and enhance yoyo community’s image.
In addition, JYYCIO will widen and reimagine the usage of music in the yoyo competition scene. Live performances by artists and DJs to expand the musical options that are indispensable for yoyo competitions and we will incorporate not only participants but also viewers can enjoy, such as special demonstrations by overseas players unique to the online cup.
JAPAN YOYO CUP -INTERNATIONAL ONLINE is to be held in May 2021, with 1A (single hand string) 2A(double hand looping) 3A(double hand string) 4A(offstring) and 5A(counterweight) divisions in a 2 minute freestyle format. There will also be an Amateur division and over 30 division, with a 1 minute freestyle format. We have appointed excellent Japanese yoyo players and musicians who understand yoyoing as judges.
We will do our best to help the players unleash their great potential and make it an event that can step up the community.
