    You could say that this was quite a... Turning Point... for Takeshi

      I wonder if this gave him a... Palpitation?
      (And I am aware he used the Leviathan)

    Uhoh, it's happening again. A multiple time world champion loses once and everyone starts saying his time is over. You got to lose to grow sometimes you know -_- . He's a 6 time world champion, he doesn't need to win worlds all the time. He'll probably win again sometime, but others need to win too O.O

      A lot of people want to win
      Not everyone gets the chance too, even though everyones capable, at least not all the time

    I now remember takeshi as the guy who would've won if it weren't for that one major deduction.

  • @GarethXL
    @GarethXL 8 лет назад

    hmm could someone tell me why he lost?
    it seems to me that he made fewer mistakes, or does droping actually counts towards a higher point deductions?

    • @nictheperson6709
      @nictheperson6709 8 лет назад

      He snap started and lost a point as a result.

    • @questjay
      @questjay 8 лет назад

      In this performance, at some points, he misses some lands or tricks don't work the way he wants to which takes away from the points he could have earned, plus the restart of his yoyo was a -1 point reduction off his overall score. So he would have scored higher if he had landed all his tricks with no restart. It's pretty clear of you watch his 2014 performance and compare it to this, you can tell he was struggling a bit with his tricks.

    • @jamoyothebadger906
      @jamoyothebadger906 9 лет назад +3

      +iRicksterrr You can get points for various things, rather than simply the yoyo. The overall performance can be scored aswell, how crowd pleasing you are. For example, if two competitors enter, and their yoyoing was equally as good, all their scores were equal, if one was more funny, or smiled more or something, they'd probably get more points. I think that's it anyway. But even if Takeshi did smile more, I think Jake would have still won. Takeshi is amazing, world champion material, but Jakes performance this year was just....god

    終わった瞬間悔しそうな顔してんのが分かるな・・・
    素人でも分かるようなテンポを損なう細かいミスを頻発してた上に、最後のアレは・・・
    多分、これで一位を獲ってたとしても本人が納得しないだろうな

    • @ConnorSeals
      @ConnorSeals 9 лет назад +1

      iRicksterrr lol he has all of the practice he needs. No matter how much you practice the tricks, you can still screw it up on stage.

    He actually could have won despite those mistakes if he just made one less mistake or as stated before, showed a bit more enthusiasm. His time to win definitely hasn't ended just yet. He just wasn't very fluent this time around compared to the last few years. He can still win next year for sure.

      +NostarOFTO you do realize he was way ahead of everybody's game for the longest time, look at his 2012 freestyle he had more passion back then.

      +thereezig23 I feel as Takeshi wasn't really trying. The whole time I saw him at Worlds he never even through a 5a Yoyo. If he polished up his freestyle he'd still be untouchable.
