When I read "The Worst Witch" by Jill Murphy, I guess the series has inspired Harry Potter too. I'm so happy that you mentioned Eva Ibbotson, I want to read everything she wrote!
Interesting! We have not yet read The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. i was worried my son may get scared so was waiting for him to get older, but I think he may be ready for it this autumn!
