Holy crap that's slot of work to get to. You didn't show removing the exhaust manifold. It appears that was leaking by the black soot around the exhaust manifold. A job I plan on doing real soon.

Hello, thank you for the video, when you take off the turbo like this, does it require anytype of programming after, can an owner-operator do this himself in order to replace or clean cooler to resolve SPN 2569 FMI 18?

Thanks for the video!! I’m looking to invest in a d13. I need something with all emissions since I’m going into California. Is there any years I should try and stay away from? My budget allows a 2011 to 2015. I can get the earlier models a little cheaper but logic would say the later model the better. Thanks again

If I’m strictly removing/replacing the EGR cooler, does the turbo still need to be removed?

Great video carl! I am having this issue with my 2011 vnl 670 D13 engine. I have a code SPN1231 FMI 2 . It will come on after ignition switch is turned off /on . I replaced chassis ,dpf ,def harness . Previous owner replaced engine harness five or six years ago. I pulled the EGR connector and checked voltage I was getting ground on one wire and zero reading on the other one no matter what temperature is on the engine. Can you tell me what type of voltage I should have at EGR connector please thank u!!!!!!

Do you happen to know what the torque specs are for the exhaust manifold ?
