!!! Never use sanding discs for cleaning surfaces. You can make damage. Use wire brush wheel/cup brush
1st : You need to point camera on working area not on your back 2nd: On volvo trucks all bolts and nuts are metric sizes. So don’t use 9/16 for 14mm Can damage bolt or socket/wrench
If air is not present at the suspension leveling valve an air pressure protection valve may be stuck . It is located on the secondary air tank .
Liked/Subscribed Carl, the one thing I'm a tad confused about is you mention "the dump valve in the run position", and you say "Bags are not inflated" (plural), but it's only one bag/Haldex valve that is not working correctly, so only one airbag is deflated (like my RV right now). Appreciate this video from 7 years ago and don't expect a response, but maybe clarify for future viewers.

The rubber grommets, if you will. Are they suppose to rotate freely on the bolt. .meaning I see the bolts are smooth then a thread starts . Commonsense tells me it should hoe ever I'm not a mechanic and my mechanic has them so tight the rubber bends over instead of it freely pivoting on the bolt. I mean it's a lock nut it's not going any where but he says leave them on there tight. Now my bags are 3" from bottom of inner bad I guess to the rubber of bag

Hey was told my egr wasn't the problem but the seal going into the block behind egr were leaking should I change the hold thing or just the seals truck is deleted
Hey Carl.. I have an FH 12 Volvo having trouble with no air going into the airbags.. got told from a mechanic yesterday that there’s no power coming from the front sensor plugs to activate air down to the airbags. Would you have any ideas on what it might be? I’ve got a sparky coming out to have a look but that’s in about a weeks time.

My air bags are going up and down on there own and I can't find a link no where and when they go down I do not loose pressure on the gage I have changed the leveling value but still doing the same thing

Holy crap that's slot of work to get to. You didn't show removing the exhaust manifold. It appears that was leaking by the black soot around the exhaust manifold. A job I plan on doing real soon. That's usually the hardest part I bet. I appreciate all the detail on this job
Hello, thank you for the video, when you take off the turbo like this, does it require anytype of programming after, can an owner-operator do this himself in order to replace or clean cooler to resolve SPN 2569 FMI 18?

Thanks for the video!! I’m looking to invest in a d13. I need something with all emissions since I’m going into California. Is there any years I should try and stay away from? My budget allows a 2011 to 2015. I can get the earlier models a little cheaper but logic would say the later model the better. Thanks again
I did a video “Volvo D13 EGR repair”. In it I break down the entire egr and rebuild it. The oil lines cool the egr. As you will see they do not lubricate the egr. For less than $20 a lubrication port can be added to the egr valve and eliminate the problem of it failing.

Do you have to reset anything in PTT (volvo tech tool?
My problem is, the truck dumps and inflates continuously only when I’m hooked up to a trailer. It dumps and then inflates after about 20 seconds. Up and down all day. No problem while bobtailing.
