Fixing A Smashed Toyota Corolla Window

Somebody smashed the window on my brother's 2005 Toyota Corolla front passenger window, so I offered to fix it for him. It's not terribly difficult and doesn't require too many tools. If you find some glass at a junkyard, it can be done for cheap!

Does anyone know if you have to have an manual window to replace a manual window or can you switch a window from a door with automatic windows to one with hand crank windows?

I think it shouldn't matter, the regulator mechanism in the door would be different, but the window itself should be the same.
