Gatlinburg is our family #1 ! The absolute best was log cabin decorated Christmas, the tree, lites thruout n fireplace, hot tub off bedroom balcony overlooking creek, snow, deer ❤ Thanksgiving in cabin, Cracker Barrel dinner delivered. Then come down mountainside to Christmas shopping snow, music, alley of boutique shops/uniques/antiques . The Peddler Steakhouse is awesome n been there long time! Awesome tour ty!! Y’all have a fun and safe time!

We were there 40 years ago on our honeymoon. Then it was way more undeveloped. Way more country and hardly any traffic. Gatlinburg today is so much more developed. That is a chair lift to view the city.
This was the first place I skied 40 years ago! We ate at a pancake place that had tiny silver dollar pancakes, I think that’s what they were called. This was in the 80’s.
Gatlinburg is awesome. This is where everyone around here goes to view the leaves change color. Nice place. Hope y’all have a blast!!! The chair lift is fun but is expensive for just a gift shop at the top.
Go to Pirates Caribbean , Hatfield and Mccoy, and the Stampede. Well worth your money, these dinner shows are awesome . The Hollywood wax museum is cool .
That isn't busy by Gatlinburg standards. Smoky Mountain National Park is the most visited national park in the USA. They have over 13 million visitors per year.
My brother lost his Air Force sunglasses and binoculars and camera after he thought it would be cool to get out of the car to take pic of a bear. 😱 Thank goodness mom was with us. She was screaming at my dad, LOCK THE DOOR. 😝 Thank God my brother was not hurt. Just scared big time.
Best food ever @ Flap Jacks I’ve eaten there many times!!! Great choice I love visiting that area great place to relax ❤ Enjoy & be safe. Once the Christmas lights are up in that area it’s lit up like Vegas & it has a GREAT atmosphere for Christmas shopping ❤❤❤

Outside Gatlinburg us a place called Valley Machine And Tool. Metal spinning company. Tell them Tammy sent you. Not many companies like this left. I helped build it. On Birds Creek Rd.
When you leave Gatlinburg to go to NC that mountain you will drive is CRAZY! The detour to get into NC. You will see it is nuts! Straight up on a hillside for 20 miles! lol

You missed Margaritaville, and you should go to Parrot mountain. You all should go to the place in Pigeon Forge called THE ISLAND. Also you should get you and Magniloas old time photos taken. Cades Cove is a nice peaceful drive to see deer and wild life.
I have been to Gatlinburg but it's been a long time ago but it was so beautiful and good people there too and lots of ducks in the creeks to feed too have fun JLR and Magnolia 🥰
Great tourist locations. I love going around the Smoky Mountains. My mother made cathead buscuits. They are as big as the head of a cat. They are a back hills special. Mmmm

I love hiking there especially the trails that lead to waterfalls and an old mill. We usually rent a cabin.

We always stay in pigeon forge because Gatlinburg is so stuffed with people! I think pigeon forge is more spread out!

Ride the lift at the bottom of the hill. At the top is great views and many businesses shops right on tip top.
