Sounds nice, but we would overpopulate the planet in no time. And what happens when living organisms have to share more and more habitat; They clash; war. It doesn’t matter if its about bacteria, ants, lions or humans.
Animals don't love each other like this, everyday. There's no such thing as a hippie paradise where just everyone loves each other. No one would appreciate love when there would be no hate, because no one would see any difference. Kevin knows exactly how to handle these animals & backs away when they are not in the mood. He studied their every move. Maybe humans should be this respectful as well, when someone gives them a hint to leave them alone.
It's not just you, Keith, I love to see that affection and the great cats rolling about wanting belly rubs, and delighting in the human warmth. It is heart warming in a cold and often heartless world.
Honestly, coming from a psychologist who also loves animals, I think they actually hold you in higher stature than any other lion could have in the pride, solely because of your attention to detail when it comes to understanding each specific lion. All humans like recognition and understanding, I'm sure it translates to the animal kingdom, particularly when prides operate similarly but just not so heart felt and with pure understanding. I'm sure you key into things that no lion would (relationship wise)

You know these big cats love Kevin when @10:00 he says "the feeding truck has arrived to feed the hungry lions" and you realize he's made this video before they were fed! I've been following Kevin's channel for a long time but it still amazes me the bond they share that he can go in with hungry lions and play with them.
And the vocalizing from all the lions just makes my day! Undeniable evidence of the fact that these animals DO have feelings, both for each other and for Kevin! What an amazing way to start the day, thank you!
Kevin, I believe the key to understanding lion behaviour is to have a relationship with them from when they are cubs so they see you as one of the pride and not prey but it’s just incredible how you can still remain calm and not show any fear when Libby has your arm in her mouth (at 3:20 mins) 😳I love the work you do. It is so important for our understanding in some part of these magnificent creatures. Thank you for these videos.

Actually someone else first called Kevin that and he was hesitant to really accept the name until his brother talked him into accepting it. His brother made him realize that it was a good thing to be called and that it would help promote Kevin's life work so he humbly took the name on.

Am 78 years old. Watching you, Kevin, with these powerful animals and others with gorrillas in the wild, is so amazing. Imagining wild creatures while in my youth, I would have never dreamed such relationships were possible. We have come a long way in a few decades in finding our real place in nature. Sadly, religion has done a lot to slow us down in fitting in this world. Bravo, Kevin, carry on please.

Yes if you train them to or if they are born in a enclosure type area. Because they come to rely on the human there for food and other things. But they are still wild animals and their natural instincts are to hunt, move, and kill so one wrong move and your dead. There is even a video of a guy that does what this guy does standing in front of the enclosure with his back from the lion, it got down low like it was stalking it's prey and tried to pounce on the man but their was a fence so he was fine.

The deep love these animals show for Kevin is incredible. There's no mistaking how much the lions & leopards love Kevin. They really do express true love for him. Wonderful!!! Thank you so much for sharing bits of your life with these magnificent predators with us & teaching us so much about them, as well. Hopefully, your work is having an impact on the conservation of lions & leopards, as well as other species of predators in Africa. It's always shocking to learn how cruelly & cheaply Africa is willing to sell out its iconic wildlife. The true heritage of the African continent & the primary reason people love Africa & wish to travel to the country. The stories we all hear of the decimation of the lions & other predators, as well as all of the animals in Africa are incredibly disheartening. These videos give us joy & a sense of hope.

Well, I think lions are scary. I wouldn't approach one. This guy can do that because they are used to him. But they are still potentially dangerous because of their strength (this guy probably got some injuries of animals just playing around with their claws/fangs. Even cats can hurt with their claws). As he said, none of them were in a bad mood. He probably have to be more cautious when that's the case. My point : they are maybe cats for this guy, but don't consider them as cats. You're not this guy ^^ Don't put yourself in danger just because you saw someone doing this on RUclips.
I've seen 6 lions at the same time, something in my body just screamed at me. It's something else when you get the feeling of being attacked at any moment. First time in my life I knew I could die in an instant and I am 30.
he seems like one of those rare individuals who is so passionate about what he does, he happily accepts and doesnt even think about any risk involved. im sure if something did go wrong one day, and someone could resurect him and ask him if he regretted anything, hed say no.. or yes, we wasnt around to do more. an amazing guy! huge respect! we need more people like this in the world

There is even a video of a guy that does what this guy does standing in front of the enclosure with his back from the lion, it got down low like it was stalking it's prey and tried to pounce on the man but their was a fence so he was fine.

Hopefully, your work is having an impact on the conservation of lions & leopards, as well as other species of predators in Africa. It's always shocking to learn how cruelly & cheaply Africa is willing to sell out its iconic wildlife. The true heritage of the African continent & the primary reason people love Africa & wish to travel to the country. The stories we all hear of the decimation of the lions & other predators, as well as all of the animals in Africa are incredibly disheartening.
These videos give us joy & a sense of hope.

Well, I think lions are scary. I wouldn't approach one. This guy can do that because they are used to him. But they are still potentially dangerous because of their strength (this guy probably got some injuries of animals just playing around with their claws/fangs. Even cats can hurt with their claws).
As he said, none of them were in a bad mood. He probably have to be more cautious when that's the case.
My point : they are maybe cats for this guy, but don't consider them as cats. You're not this guy ^^ Don't put yourself in danger just because you saw someone doing this on RUclips.
I've seen 6 lions at the same time, something in my body just screamed at me. It's something else when you get the feeling of being attacked at any moment. First time in my life I knew I could die in an instant and I am 30.

he seems like one of those rare individuals who is so passionate about what he does, he happily accepts and doesnt even think about any risk involved. im sure if something did go wrong one day, and someone could resurect him and ask him if he regretted anything, hed say no.. or yes, we wasnt around to do more. an amazing guy! huge respect! we need more people like this in the world
