Everything I have read and heard about him is exemplary. I like his manner, his casual style, his honesty. I don’t know how these people can say bad things about him. I could say many nice things I know about him if I had time and the energy to do so.
I am glad you finally understood his acting and his movies. I only got to realize his greatness in my older years. God bless you.

Hi, I'm here as I said I would. (from ruclips.net/video/TtgCkv4_DYA/видео.html)
I really liked this video. I don't know much about Kevin Costner, or his movies. The only one i have really studied and appreciated is Man of Steel. And a lot of the things I appreciated in Costner's performance there, was very beautifully explored in your video.
I enjoyed your analysis (though i can see that wasn't what you were aiming for, and that's probably why I like it), but more the glimpse of your perspective and spirit. I feel like I can relate to you, even though I've only watched your video, and not known you.
I feel you not only have a profound understanding of film, but a profound understanding of yourself and your emotions. This is something I have also tried to achieve in recent years. I easily get swept away by the weight of the world, and somehow movies have a way of keeping me still, and helping me to look introspectively.
I also felt like this video itself was like a short film. And your narrating reminded me somewhat of that in the movie Stand by Me. (A scene that I like from the film ruclips.net/video/l7r-R61W1DQ/видео.html)
And this kind of video on movies, one that is not on the technical, but on the emotion of it, is something hard to come by, and something that was really worth the watch.
Subscribed, looking forward to more videos like this:)

Sorry for the late reply. I didn't realize RUclips wasn't notifying me of all my comments.
I really like Kevin Costner as a choice for Pa Kent. It feels like there were so many more dimensions to that character. It's too bad the movie didn't spend more time with him.
I really appreciate your comments about being able to relate to me through the video. When I started this channel I knew I wanted to do something more personal, and I'm still exploring ways of doing that while trying to do a little more analysis or maybe even a mini documentary style. But it's great to just explore and invent as I go along.
I feel like I have so much more to learn about film (and I guess myself). That's the nice thing though, those are great lifelong journeys. And I can't thank you enough for your kind words.
What a great scene from Stand By Me. I haven't watched that in a long time, it's definitely due for a re-watch.
Hopefully these kind of videos have some kind of niche somewhere. I guess we'll see :)
Thanks so much for your comment and your sub. It's the best one I've ever had.

i agree that kevin costner is a brilliant actor.
i also think you're an overly emotional overly melodramatic numale.
it's like you were trying to be slow and dramatic to be like kevin costner but you lack any of the charisma (or far more importantly genuineness) to pull it off.
just say what you meant to say. don't try to make it sound passionate af. it makes you sound gay af.
incidentally, you are not a man. case in point: you called yourself a man. i've never heard someone describe themselves as a man and be convincing.
