Welcome back. You're not the only ones who seem to have gotten away from board games. I got sucked into the world of Stardew Valley - and its cousin, fanfiction (OK, not really cousin but another hobby altogether). I was also really under the weather the last few months and diagnosed with mild social anxiety - so I get the whole mental health thing. Still playing board games on occasion, but playing Stardew like you are probably doing D&D. One of my characters actually is someone who suffers from social anxiety coupled with a language barrier/culture shock - thus fanfic material.
Nice, we played Stardew Valley obsessively for months last Fall! We might try to get back into it with the multi-player update! Keep on doing what makes you feel right, board games will always be there when we need them! :D
I am proud of you both, with your honesty. This never goes away entirely, I know this only too well. Great to see such lovely people speaking from the heart. You summed it up well that it allows you to be someone else and not yourself. It takes us out of the real world, which for the most part is not a pleasant place in this 21st century with its cell phone addiction, a true killer of the art of communication. A crazy world indeed. The scars caused by others take a while to heal. Sorry for the sermon....lol. Just glad you are back.
Justin and Sharla...welcome back... It's funny because your pattern is the same as mine... massive RPG player that then got into boardgames...but can't really see myself going back to the RPGs... I'm glad it's helped you in the last year...it's a hobby where everyone is comfortable with what your playing not who you are... I'll miss the boardgames as I found the channel friendly and different... Good luck with the new direction... I'll pop in every now and then to see how your doing... Thanks for the entertainment....😁
Glad to see you guys back. Thankfully, I also love RPGs... D&D is my all-time favorite game, after all... so I am cool with the shift of focus. Happy to hear you are doing well, Charla. :-)
Whoa! Happy to see you back in any capacity! Did a double take when I saw my feed!

Things are always changing and we are certainly not getting rid of our board games, so you never know what will show up on the channel!
