Hats off to Formula E's Admin for taking the feedback seriously and improve the cutting style of this highlight videos!
2 laps shorter but 4 minutes longer. Still a major problem of spoiling the race results before the highlights release

@@Kentanimationnnnnnnnn there were highlights that were 5 minutes long and 3 of them were credits and final lap.
I would expect one could follow the race;, with at least the changes for first position. This is full of gaps, is like a highlight video of a football match missing more than half the goals.
Holy hell, we're getting 9 minutes highlights now. This is great.
Definitely a step in the right direction for the quality of the highlights package.

I enjoyed today more than yesterday. It was still destruction derby, but to a lesser extent. I think those two less laps does make a difference. Maybe another 2 laps less for these slipstream races and you’ll have solved the problem with speed difference and unpredictable braking distances.

Formula e is THE best series for racing action. it's just insane how close the guys are, the numbers of overtakes. f1 can't match of course, but even indycar, & wec are a bit behind. great great show., 👍
Yep its still underrated
I visited 4 FE events, it's fun but the racing lacks an X-factor. I still feel like FIA is slowly trying to kill it. The energy management just goes too far. The Events on itselfs are really fun to go to. When the weather is good ofcourse.

Berlin really take the season to new Thrilling excitement racing action we only see in touring cars sometimes, Rowland, Evans & Dennis with front wing damaged, NATO & fenestraz becoming the new kmag & stroll from FE - wehrlein vs Dennis it was born the clash of the Champs, Cassidy crazy weekend, Porsche - Andretti & Jaguar had their cars in first 6 positions, Porsche nearly got the home turf double succession but wehrlein was holding up by Rowland & Evans for a long run, Dac attack finally 🏆🤩🍾🏁🥳
The Rookies got pace to fasted their seats for the future Ericsson & Barnard achieved points at thrilling carbon destroying festival at Tempelhof 🤩

Now from the comments I gather these videos are a work in progress and are improving over time
But as a first time watcher I have to say it's extremely distracting to have a highlights video be so full of transition screens.
This is supposed to be the bite-sized easily digestible version of the race, but when such a large part of the runtime is taken up by this dead air it's extremely distracting.
I appreciate this one could be tough to fix since there may not be an alternative source of the video without these cut ins from the race broadcast. But it'd definitely be a welcome improvement :)
I commented this mid video having just watched the Round 9 highlights as well, and I must say it was far more noticeable in that video than this one. This one was much more enjoyable.

How the hell does Norman Nato still have a drive in any open wheel category? He was a crashfest in F2 and I see he hasn't changed a damn bit in FE.
Wehrlein had bent steering
Barnard has genuinely outpaced Hughes 3 times in a row. Hughes has been a poleman, and that happens with merit, but am sure Barnard will take his place at McLaren should they have to choose.
Daruvala, regarded as a new Lord because indian, outsmarted Barnard at the last second. Another one who might be earning his stay in F-e.
Pascal may have beef with Dennis because one's member of the mothership team and sees more often than not the rear of a client, but when he was on the roll last year while Da Costa was struggling with the car he often threw it in the wall with his own hands. And I did root for Pascal in the title fight.

Just on a side note. I was there on Saturday for my first Formula E experience. It was really amazing & I enjoyed it a lot - IF THERE WASNT *constantly* (& I mean literally without ANY interruptions) music BLASTING at such a high volume the whole freaking day. My girlfriend & I had seats in the first row that are of course very close to the huge speakers - which would’ve been pretty nice to hear the race commentary loud & clearly if there wasn’t 24/7 random techno music blasting so loud that you couldn’t hear anything else. (FYI it doesn’t matter that it was techno, any music in such situations is just so unnecessary & irritating)
Why do you guys feel like you have to have music playing the whole time? Every second of the race & qualifying included? What does that add to the enjoyment & spectacle of formula E??? It’s just extremely irritating, makes it so much harder to focus on & enjoy the actual racing taking place & it’s extremely frustrating & tiring for every single spectator to have music playing at that incredibly high volume. Especially techno stuff at that volume & for some with such tiny distance to the speakers can literally be painful & unbearable for such long periods of time.
I get it, you want to have a certain feel & generate a nice atmosphere/mood. But that stuff is done between the actual racing taking place??? During the race I want to focus on what’s actually taking place & not have everything going on; racing, live commentary, us spectators talking about the race & the live feed on the screens be so negatively overshadowed by some really annoying & unbearable music. It’s just sad & really messed up my experience because I really wasn’t planning on paying over 200€ to sit in the first row & essentially feel like I’m at Berghain instead of my first formula E race. It was genuinely disappointing.

Why does it feel like FE drivers have no spatial awareness? Each race is carnage and looks like online lobbies
It's because it's how the races are with the energy saving. You have people purposefully backing off to save energy and to stay in the slipstream, whilst theres others going full send to gain positions.
It just ends up with pack racing which becomes tough to manage when you don't have a spotter. Then when your doing all this on a track that has some tight corners, accidents just happen.
Got to remember, the drivers in FE are very good drivers that have raced in plenty other disciplines without these issues. It's just FE is so unique that it's tough to race without picking up damage.
