- Three of us went over the highest point in the whole of the 800 miles of this epic Great North Trail bike ride. Using General Wades military road built in the 1730s we ticked the box which should be on every British mountain biker's bucket list. Starting at Loch Ossian youth hostel, we took two days over the trip. Well, we wanted to make it last and enjoy the moment.
This section is also along An Turas Mor which Great North Trail follows because it is so brilliant!
Jolly good! 😊

Thanks for sharing really enjoyed watching
Thanks Mr. Tracker, that was quick, Happy New Year!!!
Really enjoying your videos and picking up lots of hints for when I (hopefully) do a similar ride in the not too distant. Can I ask what is the mapping system you show called?
Hi Paul
Thanks, great encouragement.
I use Garmin’s Basecamp to plan rides and produce gpx tracks. I use the free open street maps. I capture the map screen for the films using OBS studio on the desktop and blende vse for editing. Too much info? Ha too much info?
Don
Imagine the highlanders and redcoats marching over this pass in 1745, Wade was a clever man.
