I can't believe a mechanics response to see a crack in a wing was just to drill and hole and be like "Ah, that should do it, another hard day's work!". Even if that stops the crack from spreading, it doesn't change the fact that the plane's wing is now considerably weaker.
That is however the correct procedure
Plus the outer plating is to preserve the airfoil shape, and does not play the main role in the structural integrity of the wing. Unfortunately the load bearing structure was damaged, this is the real problem. The load bearing structure damage was not accounted for.

Right. I don’t understand how that person is able to live with themselves, I’d never be able to get over it. Knowing my negligence and laziness are the reasons so many people aren’t alive anymore.

at 10:37, in KAL 007 crash, the narrator says that a highly classified radar called PASSIVE RADAR tracks the movement of every military and civilian aircraft anywhere in the world.... If so, why is MH 370 still missing?

That’s what I was thinking. It is so horrific. I love watching planes, as long as my family, friends or I are not on them. I’m fearful that one will crash into my house, as I’ve had bad dreams. Every time I hear a plane, I believe it is too low.

95% of planes crash are pilot(s) errors, stupidity... should not fly in BAD Weather !!! Do Not fly in Bad Weather !!!! 5% are Mechanic mistakes & Bad Boing design.
What happened to the A320 is why i still dont fly on any airbus jets. I have only ever flown on McDonnel Douglas or Boeing jets.
I like 757's personally for the extra seat space.
I have flow on a max jet though recently as well as 767 jets in the past and 737 variants.
Airbus is objectively safer than Boeing but you are free to make your own choices.
Also, that a320 accident was caused by pilot error
Airbuses track record is much more of the crashes are due to rogue computers killing passengers at least 10 cases of it with airbus. So i mean if you consider planes going down and people dying pecause the computer overrode the pilot and killed everyone when it was wrong to be okay then you can go be in one of the crashes. @@specialperson335
