Japan Airlines Flight 123 (JAL 123) was a Boeing 747 that took off from Tokyo Haneda Airport at 6:12pm on August 12th 1985. 12mins into the flight the bulkhead at the back of the plane exploded loudly due to a tail strike the plane had before and the repairs were not finished properly and for 30 mins the plane kept on going up and then down and then up since a hydraulic line was hit too so the pilots couldn't control the plane and it eventually crashed into a mountain and only 4 of the 524 people on board survived.
