This is a great video, short, informative and to the point. I know you're always saying that you don't need to learn like the formal music theory, but I have started learning it and it really gives a deeper understanding to the principles you are talking about. So, with that said, I recommend to anyone to learn it if you want a better understanding. For example, in this video he is creating chords using the first and the fifth, and skipping the third, and layering the same chord an octave lower. I have been working my way through all the formal theory stuff for less than a month and can understand videos like this and what makes the principles work a thousand times better!
i have added the serum and copied you detoned settings and all that, but i still get the sharp and ear torture type sound, i don't know what makes my different, plez help
hey bro i just bought your monthly course a question I have is how do i use a calculator to place percussions for example 16 beats is one bar how do i divide my beats in the bar? Thanks in advance
also another thing is how do I use a calculator to divide in that timeframe of 16 to make my beats more bouncy and i would be using 4/4 time. another thing is you know how theres 0 to 100 on a calculator how do i make my calculations 0 to 16 in a 1/4 beat and other types of beats such as 1/3 and whats the difference between a beat step bar etc. etc. I've been having this trouble and hopefully Carlin or someone else in this comment section could help me out, thanks in advance!!!
