I thoroughly enjoyed that Walkthrough of The Ole’ Gal, She does Have Some Curves now Boy I’ll tell You What! I Ain’t Kiddin’! A Car Henry Ford Built when We were a Proud Manufacturing Nation of Blue Collar Workers Building a Nation to be Proud, And then Somewhere along the Line Someone got off Track. You My Friend are absolutely on the Right Track & I’m obviously Surrounded By Likeminded Folk’s Here.
Well I am a para- paligic and I watch your videos as much as possible. I was in NASCAR for 9 years then I retired.Still a Benz kinda guy. Had a spinel stroke about a year ago which left me non-walking. Keep up the great vid's. I was raised in tobacco road near Greensboro N.C.
Good to see you are staying w/ the late 40s-early 50s style! Also dig the '50 Merc. hubcaps (and a '49-51 Olds Rocket mill in the background). Still have them in my '36 coupe.....
Hey ther Mr. Puddin Creek, i absolutely love your chanel, vidoes and what ya do! My channels pretty new but ive been a welder and bodyman offo and on for 30 plus years. Im so jazzed to see you being succssful doing what ive always wanted. I grew up on hot rod carcraft and rod and custom but im custom at heart!!!! Keep up the amazing work!
Without a doubt, this car is in the best hands possible. So many others would butcher it, LS swap it, Bag it and put some outlandish paint and wheels. It’s an amazing thing to watch this. Me? Retired Body man, painter and Custom builder. Great job sir.
FRIEND, My POP'S is a WELDER he worked at TODD'S and NAVY SOUTH CALIFORNIA RIP POP'S . I WOULD like to THANK YOU for keeping the WELD . YOU have CLASS ( LOVE your SHOW
Hey there Pudding Creek. Great video mate, as usual. That Carson style top is friggin' awesome, and you hit the nail on the head with your comment about the welds and todays over equipped RUclipsrs . I still have my dads 32 sedan body that he built for the purpose of drag racing in 1958. This was in Australia and he had more tools than most of his mates, because he had his oxy- acetylene welder and the crown jewel of his possessions, a big old Sher electric drill. Along with his files and hacksaw, he was more equipped than most of his club mates. Australians only had American rod magazines to reference, and even those could only be purchased at a motorsport shop in the city. Well he chopped, channelled, and sectioned the old duece body and mid mounted an Ardun , sitting over the rear end, and pinched the front of the chassis in to almost a point, and used a little Ford Prefect front end. All of this as a 19 year old kid. Sorry to ramble, but I loved your comment on the old gas welds. In the late 70s my dad turned the hobby into a business and built many chassis and components for most things hot rod, street machine, or race car orientated. I miss him terribly and think of him every time I'm welding or looking at some of his old work. Cheers mate.
In 1958 Robert Mitchum starred in a movie entitled "Thunder Road" which was filmed in and around Asheville, NC. In that movie there was a brief scene showing the front end of a Ford that looks like this one peeking out of a stall. I suppose that it was part of the message that there were moonshine running vehicles hiding in every nook and cranny. In the mid to late 70s I saw the actual car from the movie still peeking out of that stall. The place was John Bells' Main Auto Parts, a junk yard in Asheville which no longer exists. Prolly not the same car but this post certainly reminded me of my eleven years in the Asheville area (1974-1985) and my association with John Bell and the car club we both belonged to, The Street Tiques of Asheville..
I actually watched this voluntarily. 😂 Great video. Ashville Custom/ A little bit of this, and a little bit of that! Looking forward to seeing the 'Ol Girl finished. Stay Safe Brother! ✌️😎
Thanks for all the info. I love it and was wondering if it was a convertible sedan or a regular sedan that had the top cut off. Cool Studebaker taillights too. I worked and worked on the wiring in my 32 3 window and it still looks like crap. LOL Good job on this one. I made my own turn signal switch. It's actually made into the column that I made from a piece of 1 1/2" exhaust pipe. The switch is just a momentary two position switch with a home made lever. You have to hold it to make the signals work but, at least it won't stay on if I forget to turn it off.
We can learn a lot from you thnx for that i always loved old kansas shiny american cars but this channel let me love cars with lots of patina on it to looks cool new gangsterrace style ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ps you missing one k in the lissonsplate 😂😂😂😂😂😂sorry for my english wrighting im from the netherlands in europe
From $6K to $73K that's the minimum range of profit return every week I thinks it's not a bad one for me, now I have enough to pay bills and take care of my family.
VENTURING into the trading world without the help of a profesionals, trading and expecting profit is like turning water into wine you would need a miracle.
Very engaging right from the beginning These are tough and frankly I appreciate how you discuss global finances in such a delicate way. Business and investment
Experted Ann Marie strunk was my hope during the 'bear summer' last year. I did so many mistakes but also learned so much from it, and of course from Maria strunk.
Just sold a property in Alaska and I'm thinking to put the cash in stocks, I know everyone is saying it's ripe but Is this a time to buy stocks? How long until a full recovery? How are other people in the same market raking in over $450k gains within months, I'm really just confused at this point.
My 1st time here. Who came first, "Pudding Creek Rod Shop" or "Puddin's Fab Shop"? Both YT sites have similar content and you're playing Puddn's old opening song, The Colonel, at frame 4:27 here. He's been at it for 6 years. Pure coincidence I'm sure. Great content! Love your voice narration. It reminds me of the old "Wonderful World of Disney" stories in the '60s
No affiliation between the two channels. Pudding Creek is just the name of our shop. That song, that you reference, is just one of the copyright free songs that anyone can use for background music on their videos. One channel has nothing to do with the other. Just have similar names…
Enjoyed the video. I'm also in East Tennessee and have recently started up a channel myself. Was wondering if you would be willing to make a wiring diagram you used on this car. I would gladly pay you for a detailed diagram. Love the idea of doing a very traditional style wiring in my 40 Merc.
your license plate lights are not factory 1949 - 50 Chevrolet, they are aftermarket chrome covers for 49 - 50 Chevrolet. the factory lights were 2 pieces, the aftermarket chrome ones are one piece like you have there.

Very cool car, l like the presentation and the custom touches. Preserving this custom is a good thing to do.

Hello Great Britain!
Very cool! Someone put a ton of time into making that top.
Thanks for all the info. I love it and was wondering if it was a convertible sedan or a regular sedan that had the top cut off. Cool Studebaker taillights too.

Hello Netherlands!
Thanks, I really enjoyed this!
I believe the marker lights in the fenders are 1953 Chevy car front markers! They look the exact same as my ‘53.
Most excellent! You do great work and have the "eye" for sure!
Nice job on the wiring

The fact that I got to learn and earn from her program is everything to me think about it, it's a win-win for both ways.
