I have one of these. It's pretty amazing just with the diesel engine and when driving normally. But when the battery has juice and you put it in power mode... It's mind-boggling how quickly it goes. Especially for a car that heavy!

My dad owns a 2015 built one of these. Got my license recently and went from a manual vw golf lesson car to this for my first trip without an instructor. The battery was flat aswell so it was all diesel power. This thing feels so powerful I swear it sounds so beautiful.

I had no idea this configuration of the V60 existed. We never got diesels in Canada, or the plug-in hybrid.
I have a 2017 R Design Platinum AWD with the Polestar enhancement so I’ve got 306 hp and 317 lb/ft of torque, so yeah, I totally get your excitement, is the same I get when I drive mine 😏
Awesome! This diesel hybrid has a combined torque of 640nm/472lb-ft making it absolutely fly off the line

You should make world tour again, this time about sweden.. since volvo is made in there (Gothenburg) and also the ill fated SAAB (scania but car)
I remember being disappointed we had to get rid of our '05 V70R for this. While I still miss the R, this is a worthy replacement. It's so much fun. Only thing I dislike are the ugly aero wheels.

If the Battery would be fulltime charged it would go a bit faster with the e boost
Not a bit, alot. I have that car. On empty battery you loose alot of Torque with discharged battery.

video is old and maybe you had occasion to make the same with an xc 40 volvo awd full electric with 408 hp, I think is an ulterior step up, in having power without pay the price!
Ik had precies dezelfde auto gekocht niet zolang geleden ding is een kanon reed zo lekker maar het hybride systeem was naar de klote moest een nieuwe accu in denk ik hoop gezeik gehad met Volvo want die zeiden steeds dat er niks met die auto was uiteindelijk wel netjes me geld terug gehad heb nu een Corolla 2.0 uit 2020 rijd ook top maar kwa optrekken was die Volvo echt beter
