This video shows you how to install a new blend door actuator on your 2011-2019 Ford Explorer. The temperature blend door actuator is the electric motor that is responsible for physically opening and closing the blend doors in your vehicle's HVAC system. If the actuator isn't working, then you won't be able to control the temperature of the air coming out of the vents!
This repair was done on a 2013 Ford Explorer Limited 3.5L Sport Utility 4-Door AWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
