If I was commissioner. I would push for a 19 week season with bye weeks for all teams week 7 and week 13. This would assure 2 x 2 weeks off for rest and injuries
Detroit seems to do better when folks start to count them out. What PFF and the talking heads at ESPN & Fox Sports are saying is irrelevant. I have the utmost confidence they'll do a good job drowning out the outside noise. I'll reiterate what I've already said before: Lions are going to win out the rest of the season and secure the #1 seed in the NFC. #AllGrit #OnePride #DetroitVsEverybody
Just win the next 3 and leave no doubt. I think Minnesotta will drop one against Seattle or the Packers but the Eagles have a fairly easy schedule left. Their best chance for a loss is against the Redskin's/commandos
They said the Bills couldn't stop the run either but they did a pretty good job. Look for the Bears to challenge our LBs in the pass game like the Bills did. Bills had a good game plan to beat us and i expect the Bears to mimick that if they can
Matt the Lions and the Vikings both can't win their last three together, because we play the Vikings on game number three. So neither team can theatrically win their last three games together. 🤔 Only 1 team will have the chance to win all three of their last games. It's ok Matt, we all make mistakes. 😎 Go Loins 🏆
The one seed is right there for the taking!!! Who gives a rip about Philly’s schedule? The Lions need to win three games they’ll be favored in. How fast do we forget last year where we had to fight with two or three other teams (plus the refs) for a chance at the 1 seed. It might not be “easy” but I certainly expect them to get it.
I think we lost to TB this year because it was our 3rd match up in less than two years, hard to win 3 in a row, good call dont want to see the Rams Vikings or Packers in the playoffs
This fan base is insane, every year after a loss the sky is falling, I’ve been a diehard since 1994, I’m 34, I’ve seen a lot of losing, this team is different, period.
Every year they didnt have this many injuries did they I'm not saying nothing's over but injuries can catch up to any team and you can't play like you did against good teams the way we played buffalo which is also a good team!
Matt, getting sick of all this negativity! We will find a way! Why compare Lions Defense from last year? Even with all the injuries, our Defense is still better this year than last year. We are not giving up +100 yards receiving for star receivers every game like last year. You are now the same square as Valente - which is so sad…
according to you its never easy for the Lions. You always seem to have a very negative opinion. Doesn't past history matter. We beat Green Bay with essentially a practice squad
Trading Places! Great movie! 😁
Burnt my fingers man
I am officially concerned that the Lions have too many injuries on defense to successfully navigate the NFC playoff gauntlet. I hope I'm wrong.
Getting the bye would help a lot
You’re definitely wrong
Slap yourself. When were we the 1st seed with 3 weeks left. Hint. Fricking never. The moaning needs to stop.
Only speak positives into existence
Lions hang onto one seed or not and get healthier into their playoff run!
I thought I should check in again! Thanks Matt for your voice!
Who cares what the PFF thinks. The last time I looked the NFL rules didn't award points for a PFF ranking.
Axel Foley said it best "I'm on vacation!"

You said it the other day. it's not hate based ratings, i'm ok with 4th it's reality it's ok. power rankings don't win games. winning does, thats it.
It's okay because they will be ranked 1 when it's all said and done. They will be the only ones left standing
Trading Places is the movie, I just watched that yesterday, it is still a great movie.

Every podcast should work in "slobber knocker" ... GO LIONS!!!
Playoff seeding will be very important for the Lions this week... finish strong!

love Eddie Murphy
DJ Moore doesn't work out in the off- season. He said so on the St. Brown Brothers Podcast. He said he never has.
Come on Craig! It’s your chance!
C'mon Matt, all your podcasts are *special*
Got a receipt ?

We are getting that one seed and I don't think it's going to be that difficult. Just a prediction

Hey Matt, you could've put a little bit of your acting skills in the, "In Philadelphia it's worth fifty bucks" line.
None other than the Road Runner.
The question was about the OFFSEASOM yall want him to lie and say he watching film all summer
