Bottom line.
Yep. Hey Mother Teresa didn't need to be in poor places either and she helped. And so did this patriot.
They sure showed up fast when people started getting shot.
@FireEscape, RIGHT!
The rioters didn't "have to be there" either...
If we're going to own guns, if we're going to defend the 2nd amendment, if we're going to believe in a birth right to defend ourselves(no matter what age we are) we're going to have to protect those who are prosecuted unfairly for using these rights.
Agreed. Now we need to formulate a plan. Not really sure what the best course of action is at this moment though

All you will get is less freedom and less safety.
Fight smart, legally. You wont win against the left in the streets. The media supports them.
Let the self implode, as we are seeing. The riots are only solidifying Trumps reelection. People see that their governors and mayors are doing nothing to quell this. They reject federal assistance and applaud the rioters.

I wish he wouldn't have been there for his and his family's sake, but not as much as I wish there was no need for him to feel he needed to be there. The politicians need to do there jobs and shut this down themselves.

Yes! And that could be said about the society who turns a blind eye to one part of societies suffering.
What results is acting out. Anytime one part of society is oppressed, treated out of balance, it will always equate to them acting out.
It is hard to recognize when true social imbalances and suffering have not been upon your own doorstep. I understand.
Just like it is ok to pretend the homeless problem is just because those, them, others are losers and choose to live on the streets because merely they are losers. ..... that is another problem festering in the background of society that if ignored will become a group of people acting out against “society at large.”
Until ones retirement has been taken away or ones home as result of financial meltdowns down, or until ones child commits suicide, the suffering is easy for many people to look past of blame and the person suffering.
We have become a society too easily to not care about the WHY.
We even know why there is acting out in the form of riots. Riots are wrong and should not be. We can jail and punish but the unrest will not end until will acknowledge it is wrong to shoot a Blackman in the back 7 times.
It is wrong to allow the white man to gun people down in the street when we all know if Kyle were black, he would have been shot dead on that street by the police. Even if he had done exactly as Kyle and for the reasons Kyle claims.
Oh, but if the black version of Kyle had lived through that night, her would undoubtably not get away with claiming self defense!!! Hell no!!!

@@paulkatz2483 To make the argument you made, you have to cancel the rights of anyone outside the mob, simply due to the fact that conflict with a violent mob, can result in harm to those participating in the mob...
The position that we should know better than to confront a mob and instead - allow mobs to run wild... unchallenged, until they run out of steam, and not confront their violence, and especially not as it becomes more extreme.
A take that:
1. Removes all accountability to avoid violence from the Mob.
2. Puts all responsibility on those outside the mob to capitulate to the mob's violence.
3. Promotes inaction and allowance for violence into the completely nonsense position of "perpetual escalation necessitates perpetual capitulation"... exactly the opposite of what good people should do.
I'm pretty sure that letting a violent mob run wild, and increasingly unchecked as their violence escalates is how Europe got overrun by Hitler. It also sounds like something a little b*tch would advocate... a convenient position for the spineless and cowardly to take, because let's face it - they were just going to cave immediately anyways.
It would be far more reasonable to say that the founding principle that mobs should know, and the rule for how individuals and groups navigate society is - 'Don't Start None, Won't Be None."

Most of us that are PRO 2A, have the gift of sight and common sense knew this from the start.
The only thing most of us missed at the beginning was the gun shots prior to Kyle defending himself. That came out a little later.
Kid handled himself and his weapon very well. Many people, armed or not, may not have survived that situation. Also, outside of the underage weapons possession, if he felt inclined then he should have been there. At some point good US citizens need to stand up and fight back against this assault on our country and values. It’s gone on far to long with no response. Kyle Rittenhouse punches well above his age.
And his life is forever changed as a result.
So now both sides know to bring guns to a riot; this will not end well.
And he showed impressive restraint. When one of the guys stopped attacking Kyle didn't shoot him. He properly identified that the attacker has disengaged.
The 2nd amendment doesn't state an age requirement.

Funny how nobody says that. They seem to be ok with bad people being there breaking the law
The police should always be the first line of defense but when we see (in places like Kenosha) them abandon the downtown businesses, that leaves the business owners with a horrible decision: do they let the looters destroy their livelihood and income stream (and get destroyed financially), or do they pull the trigger? What a ridiculous choice for a civilized country to put that person in, given the capabilities that our government has.
Law Enforcement has failed the law abiding. It really is that simple.
What about business insurance?

This makes me think back to the LA riots after Rodney King. Korean business owners defended their businesses from rooftops with rifles. They shot looters. They weren't called racists or terrorists. And I don't think they were prosecuted or convicted, at least that I can remember.
David Schroeder Same here. I was still watching The News (TM - A wholly owned subsidiary of the Democrat Party) at the time in L.A. but also don’t remember any negative repercussions for the Koreans. I’ve been wondering why we don’t see this type of thing this time around.
One difference is that the Roof Koreans were the owners of the businesses, Many actually lived in the buildings as well.. They didn’t travel to another city to intentionally put themselves in a situation where they would likely have an opportunity to use deadly force to defend a business in which they have no interest. In the moment I believe he was acting in self defense. His mother’s decision to drop a minor off at an ongoing riot could however be considered manslaughter since the shooting was a predictable result.
@@rodneysimms6080 all good points
Rodney Simms Ongoing riot? According to CNN, NYT, CBS, etc he was dropped off at a peaceful and safe protest.
LAPD attempted to disarm and dissuade the Korean business owners, they told the cops to pound sand. Many lived with their families in apartments above their businesses.
Also, little discussed is that in the Fairfax area of town Jewish neighborhoods blocked off their streets and manned barricades to protect their homes.
Finally, LAPD ran away, but the LA Sheriff deployed deputies in riot gear and filled buses with arrestees almost immediately and took them and kept them in jail. The deployed in force and the areas patrolled by them were relativity peaceful, despite being home to many street gangs as well.
"if you wouldn't go there without a gun, then don't go there with a gun" is great advice and went by too fast for many to catch. Thanks for your insight.
Basically, don't go anywhere.
Good advice, yes but to a point.
After the mob has been appeased enough by letting them run roughshod over our cities, we will reach a point where we have to meet them in the streets or lay down and die. You know, what the world had to do after the policy of appeasement failed in handling Germany's charge through Europe in the 1930s.
I would much prefer our leaders actually allow law enforcement to handle it since it's _part of their job_ but since they have been ordering LEOs to stand down, the country has continued to burn and livelihoods destroyed. There is a breaking point that I would rather not cross.
I would prefer my children have a happy future, not the one BLM and Antifa are creating.
Most logical statement yet. There are thousands of people in jail who defended themselves from deadly attack with a fire arm and are charged with murder because of the situation they put themselves in.
@@THall-vi8cp I agree with you on all that. The tough question is where is the "line in the sand drawn". That is difficult to answer and ridiculous that we should even have to consider it.

You obviously don't know dead people. Everyone is wonderful, giving, kind, with a smile that brightens the room and everyone's life. That's the reason I'm a bastard. Why spend so much energy being nice, when you can get it for free after you die?
I was recently posed a difficult question - if a mob like this came to our nearby town, would i go armed to confront them? Here is where the law of my state tells me that if I do, I am a criminal as well. So I said "No, my duty is to protect my home and family, and that's only as far as I am legally allowed to go." But that lead me to wonder - If citizens form a self defense militia for the purpose of driving out rioters and criminals like those that are obviously attracted to this kind of free-for-all, what then? Why don't we see deputized citizenry or sheriff's posse groups that can counter this sort of anarchy?
Because they don't want you having any power ;)
Just because you go to a different town and someone attacks you does not mean you can't defend yourself. It does not matter what the kid said, or the group he was with said. It seems they were attacked with deadly force first and that's all that matters. Even if he was a neo Nazi (he isn't) it would be self defense.

That's good advice if you want to save yourself. If you want to save your fellow man from criminals bent on looting, burning down buildings, and causing bodily harm, you'll have to do it yourself if the police are outnumbered or controlled by appeasement politicians. During both the Revolutionary and Civil War, 17-year-olds were fighting. If I'm not prepared to make such a sacrifice for my fellow man or country, I'm surely not going to criticize Kyle Rittenhouse.
Is that the people don't take a stand then they'll just keep doing more and more harm to more and more innocent people because there's no boundaries they know people won't stand up so they can just keep taking advantage and committing more crimes pretty soon it could be in residential areas which it has happened near me if people had American flags out on the 4th of July they set their trees on fire !!!

Assuming Kyle's finger was either on the trigger, or in the trigger housing, it appears as though skateboard guy may have either caused or assisted discharge by pulling the rifle toward him. It also appears as though the rifle malfunctioned after skateboard guy was shot. This may have been a failure to eject due to skateboard guy gripping the rifle near the ejection port. In any case, Kyle not only had the presence of mind to recognize the jam, but to also clear said jam (you can hear this clearing function in the video). I also think that handgun guy, who initially hesitated when he saw skateboard guy get shot, may have seen Kyle futzing with his rifle as an opportunity to attack. However, Kyle was able to bring his weapon back into battery, and into the fight, in time to successfully counter handgun guy. Pretty amazing stuff from this kid!
Not only that, he showed incredible restraint when he shot the last guy. He could of easily put another 5-10 shots into that guy to make sure he was dead, but he recognized that he was wounded and retreating and allowed him to live. That is going to help insanely in his defense, and it destroys the narrative that the kid was just there to randomly kill people. He also could of started to fire randomly into the crowd of rioters who were all chasing him, but he didn't.
Φρεδερίκκ I agree. Great points!
I also think that Kyle may have squeezed on handgun guy twice. First time click. Second time bang. I think this because there was a reason that Kyle noticed & cleated a malfunction. And I don’t think that reason was because he visually inspected the chamber. He was far too focused on threats to reasonably assume that occurred. So, I think he likely squeezed, got a click, cleared, then squeezed a second time.
I’m not so sure. At first I thought he had a malfunction after shooting skateboard dude, but now I’m thinking he just decided not to fire at bicep douche because bicep douche kind of stopped progressing towards him. I watched the video a hundred times and I looked for him running the action on his rifle. I didn’t see it. Maybe he did, but I don’t think it was a malfunction, I think he just tried to give bicep douche a final opportunity to turn around.
Anyone chasing him was a threat. The fact he shot only those who were activly attacking him ahows alot of self control.
He actually has some excellent Trigger discipline there are photos of him hismfinger was always outside the trigger guard. He was on top of his game.

This young man had great awareness of his situation. He wasn't waving around the muzzle of his weapon, finger not on the trigger when he didn't need to have it there. He only shot the ones that were an immediate threat to him and most of all no innocent bystanders were wounded. He handled it like a seasoned veteran. Still had 20 rounds remaining in the mag when he surrendered it to the police. My prayers are with him that true justice will prevail.
I’ve been having this conversation with my oldest son lately. I do carry a firearm everywhere I go to protect myself and my family. I did stand in front of my business, openly armed, when a BLM protest came to my small town. Thankfully it was a pleasant protest and not a riot and they were quite welcome in my town for that. It’s my absolute worst fear to ever be required to have to use it for real. I make a concerted effort to teach my son firearm safety along with instilling a mindset of the value of human life and degrading violence to the horrible thing it is, despite how glorified it is in our media. I remember growing up and fantasizing about going to war or becoming a cop to take out the bad guys, but I feel so naive for it now. I hope I can keep my kids away from that degenerate way of thinking.

I didn’t learn differently until I built up my own life and had something to live for and protect. I pray every single night, while putting my gun in the safe, that “Father God keep me from any situation where I need to use it; but if I must, that I handle the situation effectively”. @@paulkatz2483 If you are referring to Richie McGinniss almost being shot, it was his choice to record a kid running for his life from a rabid anarchist. You guys all say the same thing. Only Rittenhouse bares responsibility for his actions. Maybe Rosenbaum should have stayed home with his fiancee and 2 year old daughter in law. Maybe he should have left after the real protest had ended. Maybe he shouldn't have dared militia members to shoot him. Maybe he shouldn't have started a dumpster fire. Maybe when the kid pointed the gun at him and warned him off, he shouldn't have continued chasing anyway. And you're talking about de-escalation and pepper spray. Use your head, man.
@@paulkatz2483 Kyle appeared to have a lot of training considering how many people could have eaten bullets later but didn't. That being said, I have no idea why the older militia guys allowed him to get caught alone out there. At least that is what the video seems to show. Maybe they were there and did nothing. If you watch the earlier video of Rosenbaum daring someone to shoot him, the militia guys appear to be restrained and not wanting to get dragged into some dumb confrontation with a frothing Rosenbaum.
Once again, you are looking for perfection from human beings in difficult situations. Albeit, ones they put themselves in. I'm certain Kyle should not have been there in the first place. There is no question he wanted to take part in something and was not ready for what he got. But none of them should have been there. What in the world was Huber doing there? He was walking around with a skateboard with his girlfriend and a two year old to consider. He saw how dangerous the situation was and still chose to hang out and NOT send his girlfriend home. On top of that, in the video I mentioned earlier, he is standing right next to Rosenbaum as he is provoking the militia guys. So, he should have known that things could really go south with that lunatic, but chose to carry on. He grossly underestimated the potential for harm to come to himself, his girlfriend, or anyone there for that matter.
At least Grosskreutz came with a gun. Clearly, he was aware of the potential for real violence. In one of the videos, I saw kids on bikes, a guy in a wheelchair, people just hanging out hoping to see something, anarchists, people breaking stuff for whatever reason, etc. It was a giant s**t show. Frankly, I don't see how people don't get shot every night at these protests.
That being said, having watched the videos many times, I can't believe Rittenhouse will be convicted of anything close to murder. I leave open the very distinct possibility that there are other videos that could change my opinion.
@Paul Katz All I can say is that I like that someone is actually defending the businesses from being torched. I don't like lawlessness or anarchy. I don't like pedophiles, wife beaters/chokers or thieves.
Rittenhouse is being defended by one of the top dogs out there. With the video evidence that you and I have seen, I don't see Kyle getting anything more than time served and maybe some gun violation. But as I have said before, I am willing to change my mind if there are other videos that bring new information to light.
So, you and I are going to agree on nothing and that is fine. Have your final say and I'll stop responding. One thing we both can agree on, if Kyle gets his hand slapped, there will be riots aplenty again.
Paul Katz From Lil Giant Yeah, but he was not an armed peace keeper, nor had pepper spray. He had a rifle-a simple one he probably used for hunting.
Why should he have to have alternatives to defending himself when others are armed? The citizenry are not police. Does that annul our right to self-defense? No. These people shot are not only acting in a violent way at this riot, but have a history of being criminals. That alone proves the point. We have a right to self-defense? Ha! Where?
They tried to take his gun. In many States that alone is an act of deadly aggression. This guy Rittenhouse did NOT just perform first aid. Kyle put out fires in dumpsters and barrels with a fire extinguisher, including the one by the gas station pumps that could have BLOWN UP the station. All the signs at a gas station require you to turn off the car to prevent a SPARK from igniting the fumes. The (rather large) guy who trapped Kyle (much smaller) between the cars (the child molester?) was the guy who set that fire and then chased him down when Kyle got a fire extinguisher to put the fire out.
Kyle should not have been there? Now defending these businesses and protecting livelihoods and history is worse than killing criminals who are attacking you? We should not defend ourselves or our property? Those familiar with a firearm (and actually have one) should not participate? Baloney.
I believe the globalist UN is simply waiting for a civil war to start so that they can step in and take over the U.S. Some of these Marxists cinema stars have already appealed to the UN to stop the “abuse” (abuse of the rioters). But if those who care about their property want to defend it and the UN steps in, I will be getting a gun to help defend this nation. Self-defense is the FIRST right of any people under attack-by criminals, by organizations, by other nations, or by the UN.
He made a young man’s “bad decision” to be there. On a scale of 1-10 I’d give him an 8.7 since he missed the guy who tried to drop kick him. On the ones who he got, “ That’s why I say hey man nice shot” What a good shot man..

Thank goodness there are a few people like you around to offset the madness on the streets and in the media. A great down to earth video.
That kid should seriously be celebrated. I’m sick of hearing a bunch of little girls talk about how he should have stayed home. Sorry. People might not like this but this is the truth. This stuff is happening in our country because of those same people. The same people who sit at home and watch their cities being destroyed and burnt down. This kid has courage. He stood while most sat. The people who say he should have stayed home is the sole reason this is happening. The time to stand is now before it’s too late. Period. Get off your keyboards , get off your couches , sorry , you might even have to miss a whole day of work. It’s called sacrificing. You can not sit by idle , yet complain when you see people smashing out windows. Assaulting elderly people. Attacking business owners. Setting businesses on fire. Setting cars on fire , looting stores. So to the people who say this kid should have stayed at home , you are the reason this is happening. The time to stand up is now. No , I don’t mean cause violence. I mean try to prevent violence. This is the only way this will stop. If you haven’t donated to this kid and his family yet , shame on you. We need to make sure he has the best lawyers period. We can not sit back and allow this kid to be charged with a crime. To the people who say he shouldn’t have had a gun , shame on you. You are the same people who have a don’t tread on me sticker and a second amendment shirt but yet still believes that there should be gun laws and infringements. Shall not be infringed is real simple. Doesn’t say anywhere that if you are 17 , standing up while your neighbors sit , that you can not protect yourself. This is the clearest case of self defense I have ever seen. How he is even charged with a crime is insanity. Thanks for this vid mike. Appreciate it. Just my opinion . If people don’t like it , I could care less. Again, this kid has more courage and is more of a good stand up citizen then most.
100%
From what I heard yesterday evening, one of the lawyers from Nick Sandmann’s lawsuit case against CNN has take up Rittenhouse’s case pro bono and is assembling a legal team for him. So he should have damn good legal representation.
Lawrence Zimmerman good. Glad to hear
@@detroit313vlogs7 yep a bigger man than the larpers.
Kinder Guardians program is back online : P
When seconds count the police are only hours away...
@Paladine Indeed...
This kid is more of a man than the vast majority of so-called "minutemen" on the internet. He did not only what was rational, but also what needed to be done long ago. I will be sending my next paycheck to his legal defense fund. All you so-called "patriots" had better do the same if you believe in our rights!
Save your money. An excellent lawyer has taken his case pro bono (free)
@DV8 *** "who gave him the right?"
Our founding fathers.

@@antitankautism8052 God, actually!
We need more men who charge into the danger zone to protect people rather than run away. Therefore, Kyle is more of a man the most keyboard tough guys you'll see here. Yes, he put himself in danger to protect his community. That makes a true American!
@DV8 *** maybe he took an oath to the constitution (as all real Americans should) to protect it against enemies both foreign and DOMESTIC.
Always like keeping up with your insight. Thanks for sharing.
Lessons learned: Don't chase or attack a guy who is holding a big gun. Duh...
I agree but if you do have a gun, don't go to a riot and then claim self defense - Duh
@@daveoscroonintunes3509 nope. Its his Right to be there. You would cower in your house while they burn & destroy. Until they get to your house....pathetic.

That's like saying
"Lesson learned, dont put penis in blender!"
A friend of mine says "you can't put an old head on young shoulders". That aside, at approximately the seven-minute mark you made a perfect gun axiom about with and without a gun. That statement alone was worth watching this video. I stopped going to the local stop and rob after 10pm just because the reward of refreshment was not worth the risk of getting into an altercation with someone. Win, lose, or draw, I was going to lose because I had something to lose, and most of the people you encounter do not. Thank you for educating people on making smarter choices. Whether they listen is another matter, but at least you made the effort.
"If wouldn't go somewhere without a gun, don't go there WITH a gun." I went back and pulled that out.
The way that young man handled himself in that type of situation, he is inspiration to us all!
He had no business being there in the first place
Way you smoke crack should inspire more crack heads smh
Yeah none of them should have been there.
Unless you’re 17, you should be smart enough to not insert yourself in a situation like that.
@@whiteice3056 In America, you have no power to dictate when and where another American moves.
Kyle even RAN away from the threat multiple times, showing he did not want to shoot anybody
You dont illegally obtain a weapon if you're not planning to use it.
@@mosesfreedom9668 That's bollocks. Most people buy guns or carry other self-defence objects like knives, hoping they will never use it. If he had intent on using it, it seems very strange that he used it only when he was attacked. And in no point it was shown that he was hoping to get attacked to have an excuse, quite the opposite.
@Wim Claes what are you? Kkk or neo-nazi?
@@Mortred99 again, if this thug weren't committing a criminal act, this doesn't happen. Why was it that none of the adults discharged their weapons? Why was it Rittenhouse sought to obtain a weapon he knew he was not of age to carry? Why am i to assume he wouldn't act violently when he has beaten a teen girl? Seems as though I'm the only one here willing to ask the real questions. "Why is it that a boy who committed the initial crime is being praised by people that want law and order" rioting is against the law and should be punished and denounced by our leaders regardless of political affiliation. Obtaining a gun and carrying it openly in the streets of wisconsin is illegal, the only defense they can use is he was using it to hunt; which then brings about the questions as to why he was looking for bear in a used car lot? Don't claim to be "for law and order" yet you ignore laws when it benefits your narrative that this murderer is instead a hero.
@@Mortred99 I protect myself, with my hands licensed as weapons and with a knife i am LEGALLY allowed to carry. I wouldn't go to a place where i know violence will result and obtain a gun illegally en route to that location. Why? Because i am a LAW ABIDING CITIZEN. Hence why i have never rioted. My greatest offense to society is speeding, and the judge dismissed it because I'm an upstanding part of my community. Kyle Rittenhouse intended to be violent in the same way George Zimmermann intended to be violent; only difference is wisconsin doesn't have a stand your ground law. You don't insert yourself into a violent situation with an AR-15 to keep peace, if you want to keep peace, contact your local police department and see what legal steps you can take to protect your community. Rittenhouse was not affiliated with that dealership he was "protecting" he wasn't a resident of the city of Kenosha, he heard about a protest in a nearby city and sought to be confronted with violence so he in turn could be violent.
A year later and still one of the most on point perspectives on the youtube-is-asshoe. Thank you sir. God Bless America 🇺🇸
Since when does someone NOT have a right to be in a city that's not their home? Kyle had a right to be there, he has a right to carry his rifle and he has a right to self defense.
Exactly, I don't understand why some pro American sites are saying he shouldn't have been there. We need to band together.
Go on, go, pick that fight, and then live with the consequences. Didn't think so.
@@WeThePeople76 one it's not picking a fight, they are responding to rioters that police won't take care of. Two do you prefer hiding in your house and letting these rioters do as they please.
@@yellowfever7626 Yeah, you go on an go out and kill someone over someone else's property. Then live with it. I'll laugh. They were hoping for a fight, but then all of them chickened out, Kyle was the only one itchin' bad enough. Or stupid enough.
100% agreed
Others have been saying that if a 17 year old feels the need to strap up then things might just be getting out of control. Certain Adults need to do their job.
I think he knew what he was getting into. I don’t think he knew he would have to use his firearm.
He wouldn’t have shot them if they didn’t attack him.
For a 17yo he made great threat assessment. Several other folks after the second shooting could have got shot but they stopped and put hands up or ran away. He assessed and didn’t shoot. Got up and ran straight to the cops.
If it was premeditated he would have kept shooting indirect threats
Very much agree with this. It would have been easy to keep shooting thugs. He was aware and used only what was necessary. That was impressive control.
@@ChicagoHOG27 so what your saying is when a cop gets hit with a water battle its lethal force
why aren't the cops killing people then?
1 gun was illegal he was breaking the law
2 that man with the handgun could have killed the kid easily
3 people that do time on anything are no longer criminal
4 the kid will do time not for first degree but for second
he is not getting off on this one 2 counts and one of attempted murder
you kill someone that hits you with a skateboard and see wart happens to you.
he will burn his parents will take the brunt off his crime and you really don't know what your saying
@@pauljaramillo3898 You're missing a lot of facts my man. I feel like your for the riots and looting and just because someone used a weapon well enough to defend himself allows you to understand that there are those of us that have training and are tactically skilled with firearms gives you fear in knowing that everyone isn't afraid to defend themselves. Also, the convict with the gun is not allowed to have a firearm due to being a convict. Kind of scary that he had one.
So in your mind it is okay to riot, loot, and maim others, but not okay for those targeted to rightfully defend themselves? Rittenhouse had every right to be there, do some research my dude.
And the cops rolled right past him and didn't do a man thing, of course, he left and went home WTF else was he supposed to do without having an attorney? Turn himself in at the nearest police station. When he returned home he should have contacted a criminal defense attorney immediately unfortunately he and his parent were probably not in a financial position to pay for such representation.
I think if he knew what he would get into he wouldn’t have gone. Who is this store owner recruiting kids with rifles like a Ugandan warlord?
