1972 Chrysler 20 hp outboard Lower drive Unit teardown

The time came to see how bad the lower unit was. Nothing moved and seemed to be locked up. I am not sure how this was going to turn out.

You can remove also the shaft by just pulling it. It should come loose easily. I have the same motor and I am carrying out some maintenance too. If you give me an email I can send you the assembly drawings of the whole motor. May be of some help.
